The East Florida Top Prospect Games took place on Tuesday, June 2, at Cacti Park in West Palm Beach, FL. The event featured players from the 2027-2029 classes participating in a pro-style workout, followed by gameplay in front of the Prep Baseball Florida Scouting Staff.
Today, we will share our scouting reports on all middle infielders in attendance at the East Florida Top Prospect Games.

Marc Ascencio SS / 2B / American Heritage (Plantation), FL / 2027
Positional Profile: SS/OF Body: 5-9, 157-pounds. Athletic, wiry frame with present athleticism and room for additional physical development as he continues to mature. Hit: RHH. Hits from an upright, narrow stance with a controlled leg lift and subtle hand load. Creates rhythm in the box with forward intent and maintains balance throughout the operation. Long through the zone with a fluid, repeatable swing. Shows the ability to stay on pitches and use the entire field.
