Talon Willardson
Talon Willardson has built an impressive varsity track record at American Fork, entering his senior year with an 11-1 record, 2.26 career ERA and 92 strikeouts against just 24 walks. The 6-foot-1, 196-pound left-hander has consistently produced on the mound while continuing to show real impact from the left side of the plate.
A 2025 Future Games alum, Willardson added another strong season to that resume in 2026, posting a 2.23 ERA with 53 strikeouts to 15 walks. His results have matched what has shown consistently in our looks: the ability to throw multiple pitches for strikes, work through traffic and stay in control of games.
The strongest part of Willardson's resume is what he has already done in varsity innings. His 11-1 career record has come with a 2.26 ERA, while the strikeout-to-walk numbers have remained strong at 92 punchouts against only 24 walks.
That track record gives the profile real weight heading into his senior year, and the 2026 season was another example of the same consistency as he continued to handle meaningful innings for American Fork.
One of Willardson's better spring outings came against one of the top teams in the state, when he went the distance and continued to execute in big spots. He mixed three pitches for strikes, worked through traffic and showed the composure that has become a consistent part of his game. ⬇️

Willardson showed well again at the Utah Top Prospect Games, where the strength of the look came from the full arsenal. His fastball reached 85.3 mph while sitting 83.6-84.9, working alongside a curveball up to 74.3, changeup up to 77.1 and sinker at 82.0.
He has the feel to use all four offerings, change speeds and stay around the zone, giving him multiple ways to work through a lineup and supporting the starter track record he has already established at American Fork.
At 6-foot-1, 196 pounds, Willardson moves well for the frame and ran a 7.04 60 at the Utah Top Prospect Games.
Willardson also brings impact from the left side, with a 102.3 mph max exit velocity, a 96.7 mph average in one of his stronger tracked rounds and a max distance of 388 feet. The physicality shows up at contact and remains an important part of the two-way profile.

Physical left-handed two-way player with an established varsity track record, highlighted by an 11-1 career record, 2.26 ERA and 92 strikeouts against 24 walks. Willardson works with four pitches, has shown the ability to manage a lineup and also brings impact from the left side of the plate.
Willardson enters his senior year with an established varsity resume already in place, carrying an 11-1 record, 2.26 career ERA and 92 strikeouts against 24 walks. Add in the continued development of his four-pitch mix and left-handed bat, and he remains one of Utah's top uncommitted 2027s to follow.
