Future Games Spotlight: Noah Harris

Despite only seeing an inning on the mound, the arm talent and upside that Harris flashed was easy to see from the jump. An excellent mover with long, loose levers and ability to create big extension down the mound. Fastball comes out of the hand well at 88-90 with arm-side run and plenty of added velocity to tap into as the lean 6-foot-2, 179-pound frame matures. Curveball has a chance to be a hammer and putaway offering at its ceiling with sharp, late bite at 74-78 and an aptitude to miss barrels already. Changeup feel is advanced with the ability to offer R/R at will, showing late fade in the low-80s and command to throw early in counts. The entire mix and operation gets better and cleaner with every look, and this is the arm of projection that could point to a 95+ arm by even next year.
