Quick Hits: 2026 Future Games (Position Players)

Emerson, GA - Last week, the Prep Baseball Louisiana staff traveled to the LakePoint Sports Complex for the 2026 Prep Baseball Future Games, which saw the nation's top uncommitted 2028 prospects compete in front of 495 college coaches. Each participant went through a pro-style workout that consisted of running a laser-timed 60-yard dash using Vald Performance, defensive evaluations, and batting practice using Trackman Baseball and Blast Motion. Below, we take a look at the top performances from our position player group.

Cooper Templet OF / SS / St. Amant, LA / 2028Rankings StateRank: 20 / POS: 3
Standing at 5-foot-8, 185 pounds, Templet possesses a compact, strong lower half that translates into plenty of strength at the plate. The St. Amant product turned heads during batting practice by repeatedly driving the baseball with authority, producing exit velocities up to 103.8 mph. As impressive as his BP session was, his game performance was even better. Across three games, Templet went 5-for-8 (.625) with a home run, two RBI, and three stolen bases. He showcased one of the premier hit tools at the Future Games, consistently finding the barrel while demonstrating the ability to impact the baseball against high-level competition.

Quinn Fiasconaro OF / RHP / Sam Houston, LA / 2028Rankings StateRank: 29 / POS: 5
Boasting a physical 6-foot-1, 206-pound frame, Fiasconaro flashed some of the best raw power during the workout portion of the event and carried that same offensive firepower into game action. The Sam Houston standout was on the barrel seemingly every trip to the plate, finishing the week 5-for-9 (.556) with three doubles, two RBI, and three stolen bases. Two of his doubles were driven to the opposite field, highlighting his ability to impact the baseball from gap to gap rather than relying solely on pull-side power. He also displayed advanced plate discipline throughout the week, never striking out while consistently producing quality at-bats against elite competition.

Kingston Adams C / 3B / Loyola College Prep, LA / 2028Rankings StateRank: 11 / POS: 2
Kingston Adams showcased the same polished offensive approach that made him one of Louisiana's hottest hitters this summer. The Loyola College Prep standout features a physical, athletic 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame and turned in another productive week at the Future Games, finishing 3-for-8 (.375) with a double, three RBI, and three walks across three games. Adams consistently controlled the strike zone, rarely expanding it, while showing an advanced feel for the barrel and the ability to cover pitches in all quadrants of the zone. His combination of bat-to-ball skills, strike-zone discipline, and mature offensive approach stood out against some of the top arms in the country.

Caden Pryor OF / RHP / Loyola College Prep, LA / 2028Rankings StateRank: 35 / POS: 6
Pryor's combination of physicality and offensive production made him one of Louisiana's top performers at this year's Future Games. The 6-foot-1, 192-pound standout went 4-for-7 (.571) with a double, two RBI, two walks, and a stolen base over three games. An aggressive hitter with a hitter's mentality, Pryor consistently hunted strikes early in the count and wasted little time getting his best swing off. He repeatedly squared up quality pitching, showing the ability to do damage when pitchers challenged him in the zone while still maintaining a disciplined approach throughout the week.

Eli Clark SS / 2B / STM, LA / 2028Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 1
Clark continued the breakout season that made him one of Louisiana's most consistent hitters this spring with another impressive showing at the Future Games. The 6-foot, 184-pound infielder went 3-for-5 (.600) across three games with two doubles, a triple, two RBI, two walks, and a hit-by-pitch, consistently finding the barrel and reaching base at an impressive clip. His performance wasn't limited to game action either. During the workout portion of the event, Clark posted a personal-best 6.86-second 60-yard dash and recorded an 87 mph infield velocity, highlighting the strides he's made athletically while continuing to elevate his offensive profile.
