3/28/26: "Miami (FL) signee. Currently ranked No. 26 in the state. Proportional, athletic 6-foot, 185-pound frame. Got the ball and turned in a clean two-inning start. Tosi works with a loose, repeatable delivery down the mound, showing a full arm action out of a high ¾ slot. His fastball sat 85-87 mph with some arm-side run, and he complemented it with a curveball that sat 66-67 mph with depth and the ability to throw it for strikes, and a changeup at 73-74 mph with fade. A talented southpaw to keep tabs on as he heads to Coral Gables in the fall. Line: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 5 K."

Got the ball to start and tossed a complete game shutout for the Champions. His fastball sat 92 mph in the first inning before settling into the 86-89 mph range throughout the outing with armside run, consistently playing up at the top of the zone. His slider worked 81-83 mph and showed the ability to earn whiffs when needed. He has easy arm strength from a compact arm action and ¾ slot. Friedrich threw strikes at a high clip, working at 70% overall and attacking hitters early, throwing first-pitch strikes to 21 of 26 batters faced. Line: W, 7 IP, 4 H, 1 BB, 0 R, 9 K. 5/20/26: "TCU commit. Currently ranked No. 29 in the state. 6-foot-8, 227-pound frame with long levers. One of the bigger upside arms in the state and perhaps the region. Got the ball to start for the Vikings. Loose mover on the mound who syncs up his long levers well out of a low ¾ slot with an easy arm stroke. His fastball sat 85-88 mph, touching 89 early with sink and run, before settling into the 84-86 mph range, touching 87 later in the outing. He flashed feel for a fading-changeup at 80 mph and also showed a curveball at 68 mph. Benson attacked hitters throughout his start while showing ultra-confidence on the hill, punching out five over four and a third. A high-upside TCU commit to keep tabs on as he continues to develop, leading the top team in the state."

4/23/26: "Uncommitted. Athletic 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame. Batted leadoff and played shortstop for the Bulldogs. Continues to look the part of a high-follow name in the state's sophomore class. Defensively, he has smooth and advanced actions present both pre-game and in-game, pairing a quick release with an accurate arm across the diamond. Offensively, the right-handed hitter was on the barrel multiple times, tallying a pair of hits including a double into the left-center gap in his final at-bat. His swing showed more bat speed than in a previous look earlier this spring while continuing to work loose and athletically through the zone with the ability to drive the ball to all fields. An uncommitted name to follow as we move into the summer."

A 6.47 runner in the 60, speed translates on the bases and makes him a constant threat any time he reaches first.
