The #3 player in Georgia’s 2028 class flashed as close to a five-tool profile as you’ll see in the Peach State that shined in both workouts and throughout gameplay. Garcia would hit .600 on the week, picking up hits each game that concluded with a no-doubter to LF that would put the finishing touches on both a Team Georgia win and huge week for the incoming junior. With a twitchy setup from the right-side, the shortstop shows an innate feel for the barrel in an all-fields approach that plays against full pitch mixes. Came through with multiple 95+ EVs on the week including the HR that left the bat at 100.1. Defensive actions stand out consistently with range through the middle of the field and plus athleticism to attack balls with the utmost confidence. There’s no world where Garcia doesn’t draw considerable power-four interest next week with tools to play at the highest level.
