St. Louis Summer ID: Preview Story

This Tuesday, June 30th, the Prep Baseball Illinois team is hosting the St. Louis Summer ID at Arsenal BG Ballpark in Sauget, IL. This is an open event for 2027-2030 high school grads, and gives our staff an ample look at the area's top players.

EVENT HISTORY
We've been hosting this event for the past 7 years, and it has provided us a look at prominent players who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the Prep Baseball Future Games and Illinois State Games. Among those in attendence of the South Suburban Summer ID event in 2025, 7 have already made commitments.

Partners like TrackMan, Vizual Edge, and Blast Motion have helped both our in-event evaluation process, as well as the compilation of our post-event scouting reports – and they're also a tool for our players to learn more about their measured and collected data, which can be applied to improve their game.
RISING STARS ID
Alongside the high school event, our staff is running the St. Louis Rising Stars ID. This event will also serve as an identifier for invitations to the Junior Future Games in July. The Junior Future Games, an Invitation-Only event, will feature the best identified prospects from across the country in a four-day event at Lake Point in Cartersville, GA. This state-of-the-art facility features 8 all-turf fields. Participants will compete against other top-level players while representing their respective state.
