Faith Christian edged out Portageville in the Class 2 State Championship game, 5-4 on Tuesday, securing the tight victory under the steady pitching of Jett York, who allowed just two hits and struck out four over five innings. Chase Newton paced the winning offense by going 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI, while Jack McMillen also drove in a run to help build the lead. Portageville kept the game competitive behind a strong performance from Eli Wheeler, who drove in two runs out of the middle of the lineup.

Northland Christian dominantly defeated St. Elizabeth 10-0 in the Class 1 State Championship on Tuesday, propelled by Harrison Dieker's four-RBI performance that included a inside-the-park grand slam in the first inning. Joshua Wolf earned the victory on the mound with a stellar six-inning, three-hit shutout while racking up five strikeouts. Despite the tough loss, St. Elizabeth saw strong individual efforts from Colby Oligschlaeger, Sam Luetkemeyer, and Eli Kemna, who each recorded a hit for their team.
