Starting on Opening Day, our scouts will be out covering the 2026 season, publishing scout notes and additional in-season content along the way, like Power Rankings updates, Player of the Week awards, and weekly top performers included inside Diamond Notes.

Each week during the high school season, we will provide a Hitter and Pitcher of the Week. All nominations are submitted by their high school coaches.

WEEK 7 | BEN GUNLOGSON, 2026, MONTIVIDEO

Senior Ben Gunlogson had a productive week at the plate, going 9-for-13 with three home runs, seven RBIs, eight runs scored, and three walks as Montevideo took four wins and clinched the West Central Conference Championship.
