RHP Cooper Leggett (Wichita State)

OF Chris Zaferes (2026)
OF Colby Whiteman (2027)
Coach Turner and the Rams enter the postseason playing their best baseball of the year winning 5 in a row and 7 of their last 8 in what has been at times an up and down season. They have battled inconsistencies along with injuries along the way, but despite all of that they are hosting a regional and in the driver's seat for another state tournament run. Offensively, leadoff man Easton Hailey (Crowder) has been scorching hot, setting the table for the Ram offense but also showing the ability to churn out extra base hits himself. Senior Kooper Ranallo (Oral Roberts) has also put together consistent QABs and his ability to execute at a high clip, along with drive the baseball from alley to alley, makes him a premier 2-hole in the Owasso lineup. Throughout the middle, a slew of juniors in Joey Grabeal, Colby Whiteman, and Benji Bauer all have shown the ability to use the whole yard and drive in runs with authority. On the mound, senior Cooper Leggett (Wichita State), junior Nick Kelley, and senior Laiton Dickerson (Seminole State) have all produced as part of an Owasso staff that has had its depth challenged at points this year. However, that will now paid dividends with the added experience in some of the season's biggest moments and the ability to execute in the postseason. Their ability to execute offensively, pressure teams as they can score in bunches, and depth on the mound will give the Rams an opportunity to make another state title run in 2026.
Bixby Spartans

Overall Record: 21-12
District Record: 10-4
PLAYERS TO WATCH:
OF Barrett Standley (2027; Louisiana Monroe)
1B/LHP Jackson Turney (2026)
SS Cody Young (2026; Cowley County)
OF/RHP Graham Knight (2026; Cowley County)
INF Dax Sullivan (2027)
RHP Cash Woods (2027)
INF John Crosby (2027)
C/UTL Braxton Bacon (2029)
Coach Wilson and the Spartans march into postseason play with one of the more potent offenses in the state that has shown flashes of scoring runs in huge numbers. Plagued with inconsitency at times this season, they appear to be hitting their stride as they finished the year with a district sweep of Enid and averaging more than 10 runs a game in their last 3. Junior John Crosby continues to develop atop the Bixby lineup with his ability to get on base, execute, and pressure opposing teams. Further, they can do damage in the middle with senior Graham Knight (Cowley County) and senior Jackson Turney punishing mistakes over the white with extra base hits to all parts of the yard. Infielders Dax Sullivan (2027) and Cody Young (2026; Cowley County) can execute, generate offense with their legs, and also defend at a high clip in the middle of the Bixby offense as well. On the mound, the emergence of junior Cash Woods has taken the squad to another level as he has shown the ability to beat some of the top offenses in the state. Look for guys like talented junior Barrett Standley, freshman Braxton Bacon, and senior Meshon Minners to find a way to contribute this week as well. With their experience, depth on the mound, and a rising group of underclassmen making key contributions, Bixby looks every bit like a contender poised for a deep postseason run.
Norman North Timberwolves

Overall Record: 20-14
District Record: 6-7
PLAYERS TO WATCH:
C Charles Copus (2027)
RHP Terry Pursell (2026)
SS Luke Spencer (2026)
INF Ty Lashbrook (2027)
RHP/INF Gavin Bailey (2026; Oklahoma Wesleyan)
RHP Asher Kirkland (2026)
Coach Aylor and the Timberwolves march into the postseason as one of the more scary 3 seeds throughout the entire field. They come into postseason play as winners of five straight and a lineup that can pressure opposing defenses with veteran experience. Senior Luke Spencer works at the top of the order with visible development and visible athleticism that can pressure opposing defenses. Juniors Ty Lashbrook and backstop Charles Copus bring the thump to the middle of the order that you'd anticipate from a corner infielder in Lashbrook and a legitimate 3-hole hitter in Copus. We have seen Copus drive the baseball from alley to alley in the past, and his ability to punish opposing pitchers for mistakes over the white alone will make Norman North a scary team in the Owasso Regional. On the mound, senior Gavin Bailey continues to get better and better with pitchability and can keep opposing offenses off balance. Seniors Terry Pursell and Asher Kirkland have provided valuable innings throughout the year and will need to contiue to do so for the Timberwolves to make a run. Norman North has played a tough schedule in 2026, going east in district play, but that experience will be valuable as they once again make the trip to Owasso looking to make some noise in a state tourney run.
Muskogee Roughers

Overall Record: 10-22
District Record: 3-11
PLAYERS TO WATCH:
OF Chris Daniels (2026)
INF Truth Dedmon (2028)
INF Doc Estes (2026; Seminole State)
LHP Avery Browning (2026)
Coach Singler and the Roughers have played better than the record shows in 2026 with numerous close games as part of a 3-11 district mark. Their mix of youth and experience give them the opportunity to make some noise in the postseason as arguably the most dangerous 4-seed in the state. Offensively, they have experience at the top with senior Chris Daniels pacing the offense once again as the leadoff man and senior Avery Browning once again showing his ability to impact games as a 2-way threat at the plate and on the mound such as his 7 IP CG SO effort last time out over McAlester. Sophomore Truth Dedmon has produced out of the 3-hole and will only continue to improve with added experience. Further, Doc Estes has shown versatility to play all around the diamond and lengthen the lineup as well. The Roughers are not a team to be taken lightly with a veteran roster that has experience in the postseason and looks to make noise in May just as they have in the past.
