Perry handed Casteel a rare shutout loss, riding a combined three hit effort from Reichwein, Hartung, and Kathol in a 4-0 win. The Pumas broke through in the fourth inning when Estfan started the rally before Dekavallas delivered the biggest swing of the night with a three run homer to left. Casteel put traffic on at times and played a clean game defensively, but Perry controlled the game on the mound from start to finish, shutting down one of the best teams in the state.

Canyon View pulled away for an 8-3 win over Verrado behind a two way standout performance from Murray. After Verrado grabbed the early lead, Murray flipped the game with a bases clearing triple in the second, then settled things on the mound with four scoreless innings in relief. The Jaguars continued to apply pressure offensively, while Verrado stayed competitive behind productive nights from Trujillo and Cassidy.

Saguaro rolled to a 10-0 win behind a big offensive night from Hansen and a clean effort on the mound from Dravecky and Cochran. Hansen drove the action from the middle of the order, producing runs in three different innings before breaking it open with a three run homer in the fourth. The Sabercats racked up 12 hits in the win and kept Marcos de Niza off the board throughout thanks to Dravecky on the bump.
