2026 OSSAA Player of the Week: Week Six

Bret Schwartz
Oklahoma Scouting Director

We will be doing the Mizuno Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Each week we go through all the box scores from throughout the week as well as look at submissions turned in by high school coaches to pick our Player of the Week.  There were numerous players with impressive weeks both at the plate and on the mound, but Eli Parkhurst's near perfect stat line brings home the honors.

Parkhurst put together a near perfect week in a four game stretch. Offensively, he went 8/8 and added 6 freebies getting on base 14 times in 14 plate appearances. Further, the Edmond Santa Fe shortstop added 11 runs scored and 9 RBI with six XBH - 3 doubles, triple, and 2 home runs. On the mound, Parkhurst fired a 5 inning no hitter with 10 strikeouts. The right hander was two HBP away from a perfect game. He was a big part of the 4-0 week for the defending 6A state champions working out of the middle of the lineup and on the mound. The near perfect week gives him the Mizuno Player of the Week honors.
