2026 Future Games: Day 5 Recap

LAKEPOINT, GA – Saturday marked another full day at LakePoint Sports, as Team Alabama wrapped up its run at the 2026 Future Games while Team Southeast finally took the field for its first game of the Junior Future Games. The Bama Boys closed their week against Georgia, while Alabama's 2030 representatives on Team Southeast battled Connecticut later in the evening. Attention now shifts to Sunday, when both Junior Future Games squads will play a pair of games to close out a memorable week on the national stage.
Future Games
Team Alabama closed out the 2026 Future Games on Saturday evening with a 7-2 loss to Georgia on Field 9. Despite the result, the Bama Boys generated plenty of traffic offensively and received contributions from throughout the lineup in their final game of the week.
OF/LHP Brock Green led the offensive effort with a multi-hit performance, collecting a pair of singles to cap his week at LakePoint.

OF Hudson Oliver added a single and drove in a run, while 3B Jordon Lankford continued to show his ability to use the entire field with a backside single. C Hunter House also collected a hit, and INF Brandon Garth Jr. singled before adding a stolen base.

OF Brayden Entrekin delivered one of Alabama's top swings of the game, driving a double to the backside for an extra-base hit.

SS Harrison Milanowski continued to create opportunities with his athleticism and plate discipline. The shortstop reached twice via walk and added a stolen base.
RHP Michael Shadeck opened the game for Team Alabama and worked at 85-86 mph while topping at 86.8 mph with the fastball. He paired it with a firm 80-81 mph slider and an 82-83 mph changeup.

RHP Weston Todd followed with a fastball that operated at 84-85 mph and reached 87.2 mph. He mixed a 77 mph slider and a 75-77 mph changeup that showed the ability to kill spin.

RHP Price Prescott took over in the middle innings and continued to show the projectable traits that have made him one of the more intriguing arms in Alabama's 2028 class. Prescott worked at 85-86 mph and reached 88.5 mph with the fastball while mixing a 74 mph slider and 80 mph changeup.

LHP/OF Brock Green closed out the pitching rotation for Team Alabama, giving the Bama Boys another quality left-handed look. The physical southpaw worked at 85-86 mph and reached 88.0 mph with his fastball while featuring a 72-74 mph slider.

Saturday's game officially brought Team Alabama's run at the 2026 Future Games to an end. Over three games and the pro-style workout, Alabama's 2028 prospects received unmatched exposure in front of hundreds of college coaches while competing alongside some of the premier uncommitted talent in the country.
Junior Future Games
After weather postponed Friday night's scheduled opener, Team Southeast finally got its Junior Future Games gameplay underway Saturday night at LakePoint.
Team Southeast fell to Connecticut, 5-2, but Alabama's representatives contributed on both sides of the ball throughout the contest.
LHP/OF Sloan Browning took the mound and continued to showcase an intriguing two-way profile. The young southpaw worked at 79-80 mph and reached 82.4 mph with the fastball while mixing a 65 mph curveball and 70 mph changeup.
Offensively, INF JB Sanders collected a single, while INF Rawlins Tubbs produced one of the better swings of the game with a double. C Alex Kightlinger also added a single as Alabama's representatives continued to make their presence felt in Team Southeast's lineup.

With its first game now complete, Team Southeast will quickly turn its attention to a Sunday doubleheader to finish the event.
What's Ahead
Future Games Week concludes Sunday with four Junior Future Games matchups featuring Alabama's 2030 prospects.
Team Alabama returns to action first with back-to-back games, taking on Wisconsin at 8:00 a.m. EST before facing Michigan at 10:00 a.m. EST.
Team Southeast takes over later in the afternoon with its own doubleheader, matching up with Pennsylvania at 2:00 p.m. EST before closing the week against Georgia at 4:00 p.m. EST.
Sunday will put the finishing touches on what has been an impressive week for the state of Alabama at LakePoint. From the Senior Future Games to the Future Games and Junior Future Games, some of the state's top prospects across multiple classes have had the opportunity to showcase their abilities on the national stage.
