Position Players
+ C Nathen McGann (Immaculata, 2029) was the youngest player at the NJ Summer ID and turned in the top round of batting practice. The 5-foot-9, 177-pound right-handed hitting catcher showcased a max exit velocity of 100.2 mph and reached a peak distance of 371 feet. McGann’s physicality is showcased at the plate when he generates high-level power only utilizing a slight foot lift and rearward hand load, keeping repeatability and balance throughout his swing. Another intriguing metric from McGann’s performance was his 7.13 sixty-yard dash which is well above average for his position and grade. There is a lot to like from this rising sophomore in the Garden State.

2-Way Players
+ SS/RHP Kevin Boulden III (Gloucester City, 2028) an intriguing 2-way prospect that ran a blazing 6.77 sixty-yard dash. He is a twitchy athlete with a physical 5-foot-11, 169-pound frame with room for more physical development as he matures. The left-handed hitting shortstop put together a quality round of batting practice where he showcased barrel accuracy, power, and a line drive approach. He produced a max exit velocity of 96.3 mph and peak distance of 343 feet with a controlled, smooth left-handed swing. Boulden on the mound flashed his ability to be a strike throwing right handed pitcher with a fastball in the 81-83 mph range. Keep an eye on this Garden State player that is trending up.
+ OF/RHP Mason Blaskewicz (Hoboken, 2027) 6-foot, 174-pound two-way prospect who impressed our staff on both sides of the baseball at the NJ Summer ID. Blaskewicz flashed his straight-line athleticism with a 6.97 sixty-yard dash and reached a peak sprint speed of 19.8 mph. Offensively, he posted the event’s second exit velocity of 97.5 mph and defensively was the top outfield velocity of 82 mph. On the mound, Blaskewicz showcased his command of a 81-83 mph fastball and a 69-71 mph curveball that was spun over 2,800 rpm. Blaskewicz is a high-level athlete with a high-level breaking ball and an offensive skill set that translates to the next level.
Pitchers
+ RHP Mark Risi (Marlboro, 2027) was the top pitching performer of the event where he stood out with his 91.5 mph fastball. The 6-foot-1, 238-pound right-handed pitcher flashed an impressive arsenal of pitches that includes a low 90s fastball, 71-76 mph slider, and a 79-81 mph changeup. Alongside his electric fastball that has 17 inches of IVB and 18 inches of HM, Risi’s changeup was another standout pitch that was thrown with under 1,500 rpm of spin and almost 14 inches of HM. Very intriguing uncommitted right-handed pitcher out of the Garden State.
