Trackman Files (Hitting): 2026 Texas/Louisiana Super Sophomore Games

Baton Rouge, LA - On August 15-16, 2026, the Prep Baseball Louisiana staff traveled to Alex Box Stadium for the 2026 Texas/Louisiana Super Sophomore Games. Over 70 prospects combined from Louisiana and Texas in the 2029 class were able to compete against each other at one of the premier facilities in the entire country. Each participant went through a pro-style workout that consisted of running a laser-timed 60-yard dash using Vald Performance, defensive evaluations, and batting practice using Trackman Baseball.  Below, we take a look at the top Trackman hitting metrics from this past weekend.

Line Drive percentage: This metric is determined by the percentage of line drives hit during a given set of batted ball events.  Trackman defines a line drive as any batted ball with a launch angle between 10 and 24.9 degrees.
