Senior Future Games: Workout Day Takeaways

Emerson, GA: The top 2027's had the chance to showcase their talent in front of 400+ college coaches across 2 days at the 2026 Senior Future Games. They completed their pro-style workout on the 21st and all of their stats can be found HERE. Check out some strong performances below. 

Jennings Allen, SS/2B, 2027, Pickens
Allen was one of the biggest winners of the entire spring circuit and earned a state championship title to back it. Lean strength and athleticism in the wiry 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame with a well-connected LH cut. Line-drive oriented approach with ability to create pull-side carry. Utilizes a quiet, balanced setup while staying compact with barrel accuracy to match in a linear path. Posted a max 93.0 and an average 86.5 exit velocities with a 339 max distance including a pull-side home-run. Ran a 7.02 but has clocked in at a 6.86 earlier this summer at Top Prospect Games. Shows soft hands with good routes to the ball and excellent instincts to match. Clean actions in the dirt with present tools and athleticism to stick up the middle long-term. Finished with a 79 MPH infield velo with accuracy to the bag from multiple different spots.

Ryan Johansen, 2B, 2027, Buford
Johansen has proved to have one of the top hit tools in the state and showed more of the same on the biggest stage of the summer. The ability to let the ball get deep and drive balls to the backside continues to standout. He posted 6.89 60-yard dash to kick things off, but has been in the 6.7’s in previous events. During BP he had a 94.3 Max EV, 358ft max distance, which are some of his top numbers in this setting.



Coe Puckett, C, 2027, Fellowship Christian
Puckett is one of many players in the state that have made some huge strides over the last year. He has carried a strong spring + summer into the top uncommitted event in the country. He kicked off Senior Future Games with a 6.92 60-yard dash and 26.5 max vert. The athleticism continues to standout with added strength over the last year. During BP he had 96.8 Max EV, 90.8 AVG EV, and 362ft max distance. He really gets the barrel through the zone with a connected lower half. He drove balls to all parts of the field, losing a handful to the pull side and driving balls gap to gap.

Brody Bohannon, C/OF, 2027, Sequoyah
A real athlete behind the dish, Bohannon had the premium defensive profile on display to open the week. Opened up showing the flexibility and explosiveness in the crouch with a 1.84 pop backed by 82 MPH arm strength that holds accuracy to the bag consistently. Lived on the barrel in a line-drive oriented round of BP with ability to sync up with stay level through the zone. Average EV of 91.8 with a max of 99.0 and finishing with a couple pull-side HR (Max Distance 370ft.). Bohannon would keep it rolling in gameplay as well with an infield 1B and more impressively, 1.87 in-game pop on a CS while scooping a tough breaking ball out of the dirt. There’s ability for Bohannon to profile in the outfield or even a corner infield spot as well but there’s a ceiling towards a plus defender behind the plate with high makeup that will be a huge addition to a recruiting class.

Hudson Will, OF, 2027, Cherokee
Will has been one of the more consistent performers in the state over the past couple of years and ultimately earned a Senior Future Games bid with an outstanding showing across the summer circuit. Present athleticism and strength in the 5-foot-11, 179-pound frame while showing gamer traits with excellent in-game intangibles to match. Quiet actions and transfers weight well with strength in the hands/wrists showing often. Barrel feel and bat speed stand out in every setting while displaying a balanced approach, and sprayed balls to all parts of the field in batting practice. Bat-to-ball has been some of the best in the state for quite some time and power has been developing in a hurry. Finished the round with a max 98.9 and an average 92.8 exit velocities along with a max distance of 374ft. 7.13 runner with a quality first step. Advanced defender in the outfield with ability to profile across the grass long-term. Tremendous instincts and range alike while displaying arm strength (84 OF Velo) and accuracy to match. It’s a high-floor profile that only continues to trend up and one that should draw interest across multiple different levels.

Grant Bradley, 3B/1B, 2027, Holy Innocents
We have talked a lot about the physicality added from Bradley over the last year. The breakout year continues as he has been performing and producing since February. He kicked off Senior Future Games with a 6.81 60-yard dash. The athleticism and versatility in the field continues to shine. He will be holding down the corner infield spots this week, but can easily slide into the outfield if needed at the next level. During BP he had one of the the best rounds we have seen from him over the last year with a 101.9 max EV, 94.9 AVG EV, and 378ft max distance. He drove balls to all parts of the field and lost a few to the pull side and drove some with authority to the deepest parts of the fields.

Pearce Henry, OF, 2027, Maynard Jackson
Henry has put together a strong summer on the circuit and keeps it rolling with a standout showing on workout day. Improved metrics across the board for the outfielder starting with a 6.86 to open the day in the 60 backed by an explosive first step (1.60 yd.). BP kept the day rolling with a standout performance that finished with a max EV of 103.8 while averaging 98 and max distance of 410ft. The ability to stay well timed throughout the longer load allows Henry to keep the barrel on-plane and hammer balls to the pull-side with ease. The tools profile across the outfield at the next level and looking to finish the rest of the week strong.
