PLAYER OF THE YEAR
2026 UMBC commit Joey Coudon (John Carroll)
Records are made to be broken, and another one fell across Maryland in 2026, as Joey Coudon set the All-Time homerun record across the MIAA "A" conference with 33, and tied the single-season record with 16 during his standout senior campaign. The senior outfielder slashed .487/.572/1.589 in 2026 with 58 total hits, 28 extra-base hits, 16 homeruns, 42 RBI, 53 runs scored, and swiped 14 stolen bases. The numbers speak for themselves, as this was one of the more eye-opening statistical seasons in recent times. The impact that Coudon had not only throughout the John Carroll program but for the conference as a whole will leave a lasting memory for years to come.
