Welcome to the WIAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

The Muskego starter commanded the zone, striking out eight batters without issuing a walk to earn the win before handing the ball to Mason Horn, who struck out the side in a rocky seventh inning to seal it. Ben Kuglitsch gave the Warriors an early advantage with an RBI double in the bottom of the first, and a three-run outburst in the fifth put the game out of reach. Catcher Maddux Lessard anchored the winning lineup with a perfect 3-for-3 performance. On the other side, Mason Hahn accounted for most of the Chargers' limited production, managing a 2-for-3 day at the plate and scoring Hamilton's lone run in the final frame on an RBI from Evan Crnkovich.

For the Knights, CF Hayden Konczal managed a 2-for-3 showing to pace a quiet lineup, while DH Charlie Bongard scored their lone run in the first frame on an error.

The Madison Memorial Spartans leaned on a massive early offensive explosion and a masterful complete-game pitching performance to secure a 5-2 victory over the Sun Prairie East Cardinals on Friday at Vel Phillips Memorial High School. Madison Memorial established an immediate lead and seized total command in the bottom of the first inning, erupting for three runs. The early surge was fueled by a crucial run-scoring single off the bat of Blake Adams. They continued to pour it on, extending their commanding advantage to 5-0 with a decisive two-run surge in the second inning, emphatically punctuated by an RBI single down the left-field line from Ethan Eckel and a bases-loaded walk drawn by Ezra Liggon. Sun Prairie East displayed resilience, battling back to scratch across single runs in the top of the third and sixth innings to cut the deficit, but the Madison Memorial ace slammed the door the rest of the way to comfortably seal the win. Brayden Banyai earned the win with an absolute masterpiece on the mound, tossing a complete game while surrendering two runs on five hits, racking up seven strikeouts, and navigating two walks over 7.0 dominant innings of work to completely shut down the Cardinals' offense. The Madison Memorial offense capitalized on its early opportunities, gathering seven total hits on the day. Blake Adams was a massive force at the plate, spearheading the attack with a stellar, perfect 3-for-3 performance that included a double and a team-high 2 RBI. Ethan Eckel kept the pressure on with a multi-hit game, collecting two knocks on a 2-for-4 day with an RBI. Devin Prosser provided heavy lifting by lacing a double, while Caleb Liggon chipped in a hit to balance the attack. Ezra Liggon applied massive pressure by showing incredible patience to draw a team-high two walks and completely wreaked havoc on the basepaths by swiping a stolen base. The Spartans flashed the leather when needed, turning one double play to anchor the defense despite committing one error in the field. For the Cardinals, the offense gathered five hits, paced by a multi-hit game from Van Vogler, who drove the lineup with a perfect 2-for-2 day, an RBI, and a walk. Manny Abreu kept the pressure on by lacing a double, while Joey Tamboli chipped in with a sacrifice fly RBI. Sun Prairie East flashed the leather perfectly all game, committing zero errors in the field, with Abreu leading the way making six total plays behind the plate.
