2026 PNW Summer ID - Quick Hits
May 26, 2026
On Sunday May 25th, Prep Baseball Washington hosted the Pacific Northwest Summer ID at Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex. Prep Baseball scouts evaluated high school athletes in the 2027-2030 graduating classes, with several strong showings throughout the event.
Summer ID events serve as an important tool for both Prep Baseball scouts and college recruiters, who will subsequently create lists of prospects to follow as they plan their remaining summer coverage. We often tend to see prospects' best showings at Summer ID events, as players are fresh off playing for their respective high schools and are in the routine that consistently playing in-game offers. Standout performances can lend invites to some of the summer's top events, including the 2026 Pacific Northwest State Games.
Today, we begin our series of post-event content with our Quick Hits, spotlighting standout performers from the event. Prospects are listed alphabetically by last name. Stay tuned the remainder of this week for all post-event coverage. For all event info, click here.
Pacific Northwest Summer ID (5.24.26)
Quick Hits
'28 OF Good Christopher (Timberline, OR)
A longer-limbed, medium framed sophomore, Christopher showcased some ability on the position player side in Ridgefield. The athleticism was first showcased with a 7.14 60-time, paired with throws up to 82 MPH from the outfield that could profile well to a corner. Offensively, the swing carried some rawness from the right side, but showed some power potential with an event-leading 359 foot shot as his best batted ball. Christopher works through a longer toe-tap load with a narrow base and some bend in the front knee at contact.
'28 LHP/OF Carter Egan (Scappoose, OR)
Egan is a more compact-framed, wiry athlete with skill on both sides of the baseball. The sophomore carried short, quicker strides in the OF to cover ground, with throws up to 82 MPH and a 7.13 time in the 60 as well. Offensively, Egan is more contact over power to this point, working from a balanced setup and going no-stride with a smooth stroke through the zone. On the mound, the Scappoose HS arm touched 80 MPH with his fastball, killing spin well on a CH as his best offspeed delivery.
'27 INF/OF Zane Fraser (Timberline, WA)
An athletic junior with defensive versatility, Fraser began his showcase with a strong run time, posting a 6.92 60-yard dash. He then displayed sound defensive actions both in the infield and outfield, carrying throws into the low 80's as well. At the plate, Fraser sets with high hands and a horizontal barrel. The swing stays under control with a simple stride closing the wider base and a flatter barrel path through the zone. Fraser peaked with a 92.9 MPH exit velocity, averaging 85.5 MPH with balls hit up to 358 feet.
'27 C/RHP Baron Graham (Heritage, WA)
The physical 6'1 junior had one of the loudest showcases start to finish last weekend. Graham posted the best BP rounds of the day offensively, peaking with a 98.1 MPH exit velocity while averaging 87.2 MPH. The righty swing stays connected well with above average bat speed, accelerating through contact with ease. The backstop posted a best pop of 2.05 seconds defensively. On the mound, Graham ran the fastball up to 86 MPH, sitting 82-85 MPH from a higher 3/4 slot release. He also mixed in a SL with over 2500 RPM at its best with a CH as well. Uncommitted prospect to circle.

'27 C Jack Gregory (St. Paul, OR)
Gregory displayed an intriguing set of tools on Sunday, carrying real upside moving forward. The medium-framed junior carries present strength and athleticism, posting a 6.88 run time with a quick burst. Offensively, Gregory popped a 96.3 MPH peak exit velocity, averaging 86.9 MPH. The strength allows for a powerful swing to the pull side and middle of the field, with peak bat speed of 77.2 MPH.
'29 RHP/OF Blake Heeter (Seattle Prep, WA)
Ranked 5th in Washington's 2029 player rankings, Heeter looked the part of a must-follow in his first showcase. The 6'5, 198 pounder stood out amongst his peers physically and moved well for his size with a 7.24 60-time. Heeter fits well in a corner OF role as a position player with throws up to 88 MPH and exit velocities up to 94.8 MPH. The pitching is ahead of the bat at this point, with the fastball sitting 85-87 MPH in this look. The FB was paired with a firm CH at 78-80 MPH and a SL at 73-75 MPH that flashed at times. Heeter works through a simple, rhythmic wind, exploding with late intent down the mound. The arm carries speed with a longer swing into a high 3/4 slot release and a firm front side land. Name to know in the class.

'28 RHP/OF Quincy Jensen (Roosevelt, OR)
Jensen put together a quality, well-rounded performance in his latest showcase. The sophomore ran a 7.10 60-time with closing speed that translated well to his defensive workout. Offensively, Jensen stays quiet and compact pre-pitch with some loft generated on a controlled RH stroke. Jensen also worked his fastball up to 81.7 MPH on the mound with a three pitch mix shown overall. Jensen was a regular for the Roosevelt varsity side, logging over 35 innings while hitting over .280 this spring.
'30 RHP/INF Gabriel Korth (Bellarmine Prep, WA)
An exciting young two-way talent, Korth moved well and has the traits of a future successful prospect at the high school level. At the plate, Korth sets in an open stance, carrying a loose-wristed swing through the zone with a flatter path. The young prospect looked the part of a middle infielder defensively. On the mound, Korth carried through a fundamentally sound wind and delivery, working the fastball into the upper 70's. The arm action is clean and generates layback well, and more velocity should come as he continues to mature physically. Young prospect held his own amongst the older prospects and is a name to keep an eye on.
'27 OF Zach Sims (Columbia River, WA)
The ultra-athletic junior started off his showcase in a loud way, posting one of the best 60-times of any PNW showcase this year with a 6.56 second dash. Sims moved similarly well in the outfield with throws up to 81 MPH and can stick at any of the three spots defensively. At the plate, Sims worked through extremely consistent BP rounds, posting a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH while averaging 87.5 MPH.

'27 RHP Mateo Thorburn (Camas, WA)
Thorburn showcased some nice strides as a PO, building off another look in Corvallis this winter. The righty works through a deliberate-paced delivery with a higher slot release, working into a steeper approach with the fastball. Thorburn stays smooth through release with a tight, tucked gloveside post-release. The fastball was up to 83 MPH in this look, sitting 81-83 MPH throughout. Thorburn looks the part of a starter at the HS level with a four pitch mix thrown for strikes.
