QUICK HITS 📓

He posted an 82.4 mph average exit velocity, topping out at 90.0 mph, while producing a 312-foot max distance. His batted-ball profile featured a balanced mix of 44% line drives, 44% fly balls, and just 11% ground balls, indicating the ability to consistently elevate the baseball. Defensively, Cano recorded an 87 mph outfield velocity, showing solid arm strength for the position. At 5-foot-5, 151 pounds, the 2027 prospect has room to continue adding strength, making him an intriguing young player to follow as his physical tools continue to develop.

Beckett Haselhuhn 1B / LHP / Rossview, TN / 2027

Beckett Haselhuhn: Standing 6-foot-4, 250 pounds, Beckett Haselhuhn possesses an imposing physical frame and showcased some of the loudest raw power at the event. The left-handed hitter produced a 94.7 mph average exit velocity, reached 100.0 mph max EV, and drove a ball 383 feet, highlighting his ability to impact the baseball with authority. The combination of a physical frame, legitimate left-handed power, and a three-pitch mix makes Haselhuhn one of the more intriguing uncommitted two-way prospects in the 2027 class.

Nate Starks OF / 1B / Goodpasture Christian, TN / 2027

Nate Starks: The Goodpasture product put together a solid offensive workout, showing a combination of strength and consistent contact from the right side. With a strong frame and offensive upside, Starks continues to show traits that should allow his power to develop as he matures physically.

Brody Wilkins: One of the top incoming freshmen in the entire state of TN impressed as one of the younger prospects in attendance, showing promising tools and plenty of projectability. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitter posted an 81.5 mph average exit velocity with a 92.0 mph max EV, while driving his longest ball 326 feet. With a young age, athletic build, and room to add strength, Wilkins is an intriguing prospect whose tools should continue to trend upward over the next several years.
