Today, we take a closer look at the some of the top outfield performers from the event on Tuesday . ⤵️
Top Prospect Upperclass: Quick Hits, Outfielders
Hudson Tittle, OF, 2027, Westminster
Dating back to the preseason, Tittle has made a strong impression over the past couple of months amongst staff. Compact strength and athleticism in the 5-foot-9, 198-pound frame. Started the day by running a 7.16 60-yd. Barrel-city from the moment he steps into the box across each look. Showed a heavy barrel as he posted a max 102.5 and an average 90.9 exit velocities to go along with a max distance of 386ft. Carried it over into gameplay where he produced multiple barrels including an XBH to open the game. Utilizes a toe-tap trigger and stays balanced with some separation at the plate while generating strength from the ground-up. Innate barrel accuracy stands out in a direct path to contact with ability to create effortless carry to the pull-side. Quality defender in CF with good instincts and budding arm strength (79 OF Velo). Tittle will be a key piece of the puzzle for the Wildcats in the spring and should draw interest across multiple levels.

Toe-tap trigger staying level and catching this one out front smoking it to LCF just missing a home run for an F8.@PB_Uncommitted #GATPG26 pic.twitter.com/vgRZQQdNmn
Hudson Will, OF, 2027, Cherokee
Yet another setting where Will simply puts on a show in all aspects. High-floor tools and athleticism litter the 6-foot-0, 181-pound frame with plenty of strength to project. All-fields barrels in a potent round of batting practice with multiple 100 + EVs. Posted a max 101.5 and an average 97.6 exit velocities. Hard hit percentage of 100 %. Also went over the batter’s eye for an eye opening max distance of 396ft. It was more of the same in gameplay for Will as he had a pair of knocks and consistently produced high-level at-bats. Shows great balance and is always on-time in a hanging leg lift load with excellent zone awareness. Innate bat-to-ball skills always stand out with heaviness in the barrel from a compact path in an advanced all-fields approach. Clocked in at a 7.04 60-yd time and posted an OF Velo of 86 MPH. Profiles in CF long term with tremendous range and instincts backed by present foot speed that allows him to cover ground in all directions with ease. Arm strength is present with accuracy to multiple spots on the diamond. The profile of Will only continues to grow and is one to buy stock in now.

James Dugger, OF/3B, Cambridge
The Cambridge junior produced a strong showing in the box throughout the event. Strength stands out in the physical 6-foot-0, 190-pound frame and physical RH cut. Kicked off the day by running a 7.10 60-yd and quality first step (1.62 10-yd). Put together a quality round of BP as he sprayed balls to the pull-side and finished the round with a max 95.6 exit velocity. Carried it over into gameplay as he looked the part as he nearly went 3-for-3 with a pair of singles. Utilizes a subtle toe-tap load with strength in the hands showing often from a direct path to the ball. Quiet head with impact out front and strength in the lower half. Always stays within his approach with the feel to use the entire field well. Budding arm strength from the outfield as he posted an 83 MPH OF velo. Dugger looks poised to carry a key role this spring and will be an uncommitted name to monitor.

Austin Wilson, OF, 2027, Villa Rica
The uncommitted 2027, had a great day today at the plate. You can see the power being generated from the plate from the leg kick. A 5-foot-10 and 160 pound lanky frame allows for athleticism, but the power is what stands out. His hip rotation brings the power through the plate which helps him crush balls through the gaps and you saw that today with an EV of 90.8. Great defender as well in the OF, with the ability to track fly balls and throw kids out. The 2027 is on the rise and will be a name to remember this summer.

Myles Thomas, OF/SS, 2027, Westlake
Fast is what stands out when you watch this kid. An athletic build 5-foot-9, 161 pounds and has fast hands with the bat. Those fast hands were prominent in BP, with his ability to get his bat around fast and crush the ball UTM. Along with those quick hands comes his ability to keep the bat level when he hits and gets his full power getting up to an EV of 95. His stellar speed came in the form of a 6.38, his speed was also showcased defensively making tracking the ball easy even when runners thought it was over his head. With the natural athleticism he is for sure a name to keep on your notes as the summer continues.

Jaxston Brown, OF, 2027, McEachern
Uncommitted, Brown had an impressive round of BP with a naturally-violent swing, he takes extremely hard cuts without losing on any control for the barrel. Brown had one of the highest bat speeds at 88 EV with a max EV of 98. His BP rounds translated accordingly to the game, he produced multiple barrels including a double down the RF line. Brown is a natural athlete on the field, a sub-7 runner, with good positioning in the outfield and a plus arm.

Jake Brannon, OF/1B, 2027, Fellowship Christian
Uncommitted. The 5-foot-11, 186-pound rising senior really had an impressive day at Tuesday’s Top Prospect Games. During BP Brannon put on a line drive display hitting the ball all over the yard with consistent loud contact as his max EV was 100.6. He showed a short and compact swing with power to the gaps using a quick bat through the zone. Brannon also showed a good arm in right field as he topped out at 86. Look for him to have a great summer and senior season.

Brody Hurd, OF, 2027, Cherokee Bluff
Uncommitted, Hurd was a strong look throughout the day, showing impact ability at the plate and athleticism in center field. The 6-foot-0, 193-pound outfielder used a direct path to the baseball with the ability to find loud pull-side contact consistently. This is shown through his great bat to ball skills generating 23.5 hand speed along with an effective use of his lower half to keep his hands inside. Hurd has great game speed ability by tracking down a hard liner in the gap and making an extended catch on the run. The overall combination of barrel strength, athleticism, and defensive range stood out. Hurd is an uncommitted 2027 outfielder moving forward.
