EMERSON, GA - The best uncommitted event in the country kicks off this week with Future Games Week at LakePoint in Georgia. Teams from across the country will be showcasing their skills in front of college coaches from across the country. The Team NorCal squad takes the stage against SoCal, last year the two teams ended up tying. Unfortunatley, Socal came out on top as the winner. Future Games 2026 comes to a close with tons of talent across the board, California put on a great showing in front of Lakepoint.

NorCal vs. SoCal

Preston Hillis (Clayton Valley High School)

Hillis didn’t show his best outing in GA, the SoCal offense got a lot of good swings off. He still managed to show his composure and throw strikes for the rest of his outing. Hillis has a lot left in the tank, his fastball shows a lot of life, sometimes it just gets hit. The curveball has potential to be a really good out pitch, with some maturity and strength, Hillis will be an arm to be on the lookout for.

CH: 78-79

Jackson Stewart (Del Oro High School)

Stewart has a lot to like on the mound, at 6’3 210 the frame has a very strong lower half, he’s got a very repeatable delivery as well. His CB was spun north of 2600+ and his changeup got hitters to get soft contact. Stewart is actually a solid two-way player but only attended this event as a PO. Stewart was the only pitcher on team NorCal that didn’t give up a run.
