QUICK HITS
Carlos Rosillo | C | New Hope | 2030 | L/R | 5'10" 145
Projects well physically with plenty of room to add strength. Ran a 7.02 60. Showed the ability to receive and block well during bullpen sessions. Quick release behind the plate with pop times that should continue to improve, posting a best workout time of 2.04. Produced solid barrel contact offensively, and added strength along with continued adjustments should increase both his impact and consistency. Young catcher with plenty of developmental upside.
Mateo Gallegos | SS/OF | Grapevine Faith Christian | 2030 | R/R | 5'10" 155
Projectable athlete with room to continue adding strength. Posted a 6.95 60 and showed developing actions on the infield with athleticism that should allow for continued defensive improvement. Aggressive hitter who consistently found the barrel, and the offensive game should continue to develop with maturity.
Landon Parker | OF | Dallas Christian | 2027 | S/R | 5'11" 175
Projectable frame with room for added strength. Speed should continue to improve, with the potential to develop into a 7.0 runner. Showed a solid offensive approach with a clean swing that produced hard barrel contact and flashes of raw power. Did not take defensive reps during this look.
Ellis Seidman | 1B/LHP | Flower Mound Marcus | 2029 | L/L | 6'0" 198
Strong build with room for additional strength. Moves well for his size, and the run tool should continue to improve. Solid defender at first base with good feet and hands, while the arm strength continues to develop. Swings the bat well with a sound offensive approach, producing consistent hard contact and flashing raw power. Already contributed as a freshman at Marcus, which is impressive at this stage.
Jacob Steffek | OF/1B/LHP | Colleyville Heritage | 2030 | L/L | 6'3" 225
Projectable frame with plenty of strength still to come. On the mound, repeats the delivery well and the arm works. Shows feel to spin the baseball, with a fastball that can be worked to both the top and bottom of the zone while continuing to develop carry. Interesting young arm with upside.
Positionally, he moved well in the outfield, though first base may ultimately be the better long-term fit unless the speed improves. Produced hard barrel contact offensively, with power expected to continue developing. At this stage, the pitching profile stands ahead of the bat.
Alec Andrews | C/3B | Liberty Christian | 2027 | R/R | 6'1" 185
Projectable frame with room to continue adding strength. Ran a 6.98 60 and showed accurate throws with a quick release behind the plate. Posted 1.93-2.04 pop times during workouts and received well in bullpen sessions. Impressed offensively with a polished approach, a sound swing, consistent hard contact, and present raw power that should continue to develop.
