Georgia Rising Stars Games: Quick Hits, Catchers
Jackson McKneely, C/RHP, 2030, Dominion Christian
Mckneely is a strong 2-way prospect showing athleticism on the mound. Mckneely displayed controlled and athletic deliveries, maintaining good balance from the set position to the release. Throughout the outing Mckneely showed solid command and confidence on his heater attacking hitters. Mckneely was able to command the FB early in counts setting up for the slider later on in counts and landed them consistently for strikes.

Jackson Farley, C/SS, 2031, IMG Academy
Really promising day at the plate from Farley. During BP, Farley showed a controlled, effortless swing that produced a lot of hard hit contact with his max EV topping at 88.7. He had great rhythm and flow at the plate using a toe tap as his timing mechanism while keeping a flat barrel through the zone using the entire field. Farley also showed sound defense with good footwork and soft hands in the infield. Look for the 2031 C/SS to continue his development over the next few years.

Hunter Lemoine, C/1B, 2030, Sequoyah
At 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, Lemoine is a physical presence who works hard behind the dish to stay in the right position and help his team in every way possible. He played the game with good energy and never took a play off behind the plate. At the plate, he shows juice to the pull side with a heavy barrel that works well through the zone. He recorded a max exit velocity of 89.5 mph and an average exit velocity of 82.4 mph while using the entire field during a solid round of BP. In gameplay, he worked a long at-bat and drew a walk in his first plate appearance before driving a ball off the left-center field wall for a double. As he continues to gain experience and refine his approach, expect Lemoine to take another step forward on both sides of the ball.

Andrew Davis, C/OF, 2030, North Gwinnett
Davis put together an impressive all-around day. Davis started with the defensive workout, where his arm and athletic actions stood out. A 75mph arm and a quick transfer resulted in a 2.07-2.26 pop time range. The 6’, 165lb frame shows plenty of physical projection with an already solid floor. Davis ran a smooth 7.3 60yd dash with a 4.0 30yd split. During BP, Davis produced a max EV of 89.4, created a natural lift with the swing path, and showed plenty of bat speed with powerful hands. As Davis continues to fill out the frame and add strength, the swing path and bat speed will project for big-time power outputs. Davis is a high-upside follow as he enters his freshman year at powerhouse North Gwinnett.

Keaton Rice, C/3B, 2030, Bowdon
Rice was a strong look at Rising Stars GA, showing a physical 5-foot-11, 200-pound build. Great barrel feel throughout the showcase and continued to take quality at-bats with a confident approach in game. He was able to take an aggressive approach and wait on a fastball and find a 2B. Rice has a small and controlled toe tap and smooth compact swing with the ability to use the whole field. Behind the plate, Rice posted a 72 mph catcher velocity while also showing a 91 mph exit velocity at the plate. The physicality, barrel feel, and two-way defensive profile make Rice a 2030 name to follow.
