This is the week of the 14U National Championship, taking place July 2-8 at LakePoint in Emerson, Ga., featuring players from the Class of 2030. Over 1,000 players are headed to LakePoint this weekend, many of whom have been identified as some of the brightest up-and-coming players from their home states.
Inside this article, we're previewing the talent making its way to LakePoint by analyzing Prep Baseball showcase data since the start of 2025 to find the most impressive statistical outliers and under-the-radar athletes on this weekend's rosters.

On the mound, 1B Canon Mallette (GA) was the story through three frames — eight strikeouts, 15 whiffs, two hits and two walks in a dominant showing. A. Newmans delivered the decisive blow in that fourth inning with a two-RBI single, and C. Crawford followed with an RBI single to cap the frame. At the plate, SS Cruz Dawson (GA) laced a triple, while 3B Nolan Williams (GA) and 3B Walt Smith (GA) each added a double in the win.

**Indiana Bulls 14u Black 13, Bo Jackson Elite – Nehls 7** Knotted at 7 through four innings, Indiana Bulls 14u Black blew the game open with a five-run fifth to pull away for good at LakePoint 16. The burst was fueled by a pair of two-RBI singles — Luke Pohl doubled in the inning and singled home two, Van Ozment added two more with a single of his own, and J. Brooks plated another on a sacrifice fly to cap the frame. On the offensive ledger, Kole DeMoss supplied a triple, Pohl went 2-for-the-day with a double, Louie Williams added a double, and KJ Hatfield, Krayson Riggs, and Ozment each collected two hits. Coastal National 13, SBA Bolts American 14U 3 Coastal National put the game away before SBA Bolts American ever settled in, erupting for 11 runs in the top of the first to turn a Heritage Field opener into a rout. C Bryce Conger was the catalyst, doubling for three RBIs and later singling for two more in that same frame; OF Drew Beerman (SC) added a two-RBI single to pile on. Conger finished 2-for-the-day with a double, joined in the multi-hit column by 1B Lem Benjamin (SC) (double), 1B Ayden Baez (SC), Beerman, Hudson Long, and 2B Knox Tollison (TN). For SBA Bolts American, SS Maksym Hobgood (NC) tripled, C Bryson Sanders (NC) doubled, and SS Kole Newson (NC) added a double in a limited offensive showing.

**East Coast Sox 2030 Marucci 3, 5 Star Midsouth 2030 Black 4** 5 Star Midsouth 2030 Black broke a scoreless tie with a four-run fourth inning, sending East Coast Sox to a 4-3 defeat. A. Stonehouse drew an RBI walk, R. Fresorger singled in a run, and Maddux Desposito delivered the third RBI single of the frame to put the game away. RHP Michael Altstatt (OK) was sharp in his 2.2 innings for East Coast Sox, sitting 80-83 (T84) and generating five whiffs against four strikeouts before exiting. **East Cobb Astros 14U 17, FTB Tennessee 1** East Cobb Astros 14U wasted no time, plating three in the first before erupting for nine more in the top of the second to turn this one into a rout at Rockmart Baseball Field. The second-inning explosion was fueled by back-to-back home runs — Mason Jones hit a three-run shot, and OF James Watson (GA) followed with a two-run blast, his second homer of the game after going deep for two RBIs in the first. Watson finished 2-for-2 with two home runs, while Vandergriff went 2-for-2 with a triple, Percy added a 2-for-2 effort with a double, and OF Anderson Bowdish (FL) chipped in a triple. On the mound, Hadfold sat 75-83 (T84), punching out four and generating nine whiffs over 2.2 innings, allowing just one hit and one walk.

The pitching did the rest: 3B Owen Davis (GA) was dominant across 4.2 innings, striking out eight, generating six whiffs, and allowing just two hits and two walks to close out the shutout. OF Robert Cavin (GA) provided the offensive backbone with a two-hit game. For VA Seminoles-Zandler, SS Ryan Rezabek (VA) was productive on both sides — tossing two innings with two strikeouts and three whiffs while rapping a double among his hits at the plate.

East Cobb Astros Orange 14U burst out of the gate with four runs in the bottom of the first to set the tone, never relinquishing the lead in an 8-6 final over Power Gulf South Scout. B. Crawford reached on an error to plate a run, and H. Esperon singled in another as the Astros built their cushion early and extended it to 8-3 through three innings before Power Gulf South Scout made it a game with three in the sixth. Inky Johnson Jr led the East Cobb offense with a three-hit, one-double performance, while Cohen Carter and Norman Greer each added a double. Hugo Esperon went 2-for-the-day as well. For Power Gulf South Scout, Chap Whitty went 2-for-2, and Case Culhane, Colquitt, and owen alba each contributed a double in a late bid that fell short.

**VA Seminoles-Fisher 17, The Dream 14u White 1** VA Seminoles-Fisher sent 16 runs across the plate in the bottom of the first and never looked back, turning a lopsided afternoon at Rockmart Baseball Field into a showcase of offensive depth. The Seminoles' biggest blows came in that opening frame: C Colin Berlin (VA) doubled for two RBIs, while a pair of errors each cost The Dream three runs — O. Bourlier and J. Nolan reaching in those costly miscues. On the mound, SS Josh Nolan (VA; sat 78-80 (T82)) was efficient through 1.2 innings, generating six whiffs against one walk and one hit.
