This is the week of the 13U National Championship, taking place July 2-8 at LakePoint in Emerson, Ga., featuring players from the Class of 2031. Over 1,000 players are headed to LakePoint this weekend, many of whom have been identified as some of the brightest up-and-coming players from their home states.
Inside this article, we're previewing the talent making its way to LakePoint by analyzing Prep Baseball showcase data since the start of 2025 to find the most impressive statistical outliers and under-the-radar athletes on this weekend's rosters.

Evan Arnold tripled for two RBIs and Drew Burton followed with a two-RBI triple of his own to blow the game open, with Paxton Davis adding a sacrifice RBI to cap the frame. Burton finished with two triples on the day, while Austin Richards and Brody Bangel each doubled and Carter Spears went 2-for-2 at the plate. On the mound, Spears was equally sharp, working 3.2 innings with 6 strikeouts, 10 whiffs, and only 1 walk while allowing just 2 hits.

**Beastmode 13U Black 2, VBA National Black 13u 12 — LakePoint 11** VBA National Black 13u had already staked a 5-0 advantage through three innings before blowing the game open with a seven-run fourth that put it out of reach for good. The decisive blow came from Liam Hardee, who launched a grand slam as part of a four-RBI performance; a J. Morring groundout and an error plated additional runs in the frame to push the lead to 12. Hardee finished 2-for-the-day with the long ball, while Brayden Strode added a triple to give VBA a balanced offensive effort. On the mound, Jagger Morring worked 3.2 innings, scattering three hits and a walk while generating five whiffs and three strikeouts.

**Diamond Heels Victus Scout 7, Canes Southeast Leger 13U 7** Deadlocked at 3-3 through three, Diamond Heels Victus Scout erupted for four runs in the top of the fourth to take a lead that ultimately held as a 7-7 final. N. Fischer's two-run single ignited the frame, and SS Dallas Resseguie (TN) followed with a two-run double to do the heavy lifting. RHP Ethan Gray went 2-for-2 at the plate to pace the Heels offensively, while 1B Brady Campbell (TN) also contributed a double. For Canes Southeast Leger 13U, Levi Edmonsen was the arm to watch — the righty struck out six and generated 14 whiffs across three innings, and W. Parker's two-run single in the third kept the Canes even before the game slipped away in the fourth. Luke Toler added a double for the Canes.

The 643 DP Cougars 13U blew the game open with a six-run third inning, turning a 2-2 tie into an 8-2 advantage they never relinquished. OF Grant Ksiazek (GA) ignited the frame with a solo home run and finished 2-for-the-day with a triple, while 3B Weston Gray (GA) delivered the big blow with a two-run double and 3B Carson Page added a run-scoring double to cap the rally. SS Collin Campbell (GA) went 2-for-the-day with a double, and C Ford Clary (GA) chipped in a triple. For Top Tier Kentucky American, C Beau Clinton (KY) and SS Cruze Morgan (KY) each contributed doubles to keep the offense from going quietly.

The decisive third featured a hit-by-pitch RBI from J. Malloy and a bases-loaded walk from T. Duh doing the heavy lifting. At the plate, OF Dewey Clark III (OH) and OF Nicolis Kittiko (OH) each went 2-for-the-day with a triple, giving Cincy a pair of multi-hit, extra-base threats to track. For Alabama Hype, OF Jaxon Barton (AL) flashed projection in his inning of work — six whiffs on limited exposure is a number worth noting, even against a walk-heavy ledger.

**Midland TN 13U Premier 11, USA Prime SE Select 13u 10** USA Prime SE Select 13u seized control with a six-run second inning — RHP Griffin Johnson (SC) doing the early damage with a two-RBI triple, then adding a run-scoring single later in the frame as H. Burnett drew an RBI walk to cap the outburst — only to watch Midland TN 13U Premier claw back with five in the fourth and four more in the fifth to steal an 11-10 decision. For Midland, 2B Brogen Smith (TN) led the offensive charge with a three-hit afternoon, while 3B Matthew Howell (TN) and RHP Remi Roberts (TN) each added doubles. For USA Prime, 1B Micah Johnson (SC) went 2-for-the-day with a double, and SS Bryce Baker chipped in an extra-base knock as well.

**Indiana Bulls Black 2031 10, 13U USA Scout National-Team 0** Indiana Bulls Black 2031 broke the game open with a six-run fourth, turning a 4-0 lead into a mercy-rule finish at LakePoint 12. **1B Miles Handy (IN)** delivered the decisive blow in that frame, a two-run triple that keyed the uprising; D. Hardin added an RBI single and S. Geiger knocked in another on a groundout as the Bulls piled up 10 unanswered. **OF Dawson Cornell (IN)** was sharp in three innings of work, striking out four without issuing a walk and generating seven whiffs against two hits allowed. For National-Team, **SS Landon Gibbs (GA)** went 2-for-3 and **Ashton Ramsey** contributed a triple in a quiet offensive showing.

**Rawlings SE MAD Mavericks 12, East Cobb Astros Southeast DS 5** Knotted 4-4 through three, Rawlings SE MAD Mavericks blew the game open with a seven-run fourth to put it away decisively. G. Getzlaf singled with two RBIs and 3B Harper Dacus (TN) tripled to drive in a run as part of the decisive frame. On the Mavericks' side, 3B Carter Clements went 3-for-3, OF Stephen McIntosh (TN) added two hits, and OF Kellen Starks (TN) contributed a double. For East Cobb Astros Southeast DS, Asher Freeman was the offensive standout, going 3-for-3 with a two-run home run in the second, while Brayden Jacques chipped in a double among his two hits.

**Top Tier Melvin Elite Midwest 10, Memphis Tigers 13u – Johnson 4** Top Tier Melvin Elite Midwest broke it open with a five-run fourth that turned a 5-4 edge into a commanding 10-4 lead and put the game away. The rally centered on SS Brady Kotake, whose bases-clearing triple plated three, then O. Braverman singled home another and D. Farrell added a fifth run on a groundout. Kyler Meints gave Top Tier two clean innings to work with, striking out two and allowing just one hit. C Chris Somerville (IL) and SS Kayden Bentley (IN) each contributed doubles to support the offensive effort. For Memphis, SS Brantley Campbell (AR) provided the Tigers' most notable offensive moment with a double.

**Excel Blue Wave National 13u 5, Mission Saints Scout O's 0** Excel Blue Wave National 13u burst out of the gate with four runs in the top of the first and never looked back, cruising to a shutout at LakePoint 12. Jace Jinks got the party started at the plate — his two-run double keyed the big frame — then M. Mims added a sacrifice RBI and Blue Houston capped the first-inning damage with an RBI double. Jinks then took the mound and was equally efficient, spinning two no-hit innings with three strikeouts, three whiffs, and one walk. C William 'Lia Kurz (AL) led the offense with three hits, while Bennett Bertella went 2-for-2 with a triple, Houston and Brayden Durham each added two hits, and Grayson Greenwood contributed a double. For Mission Saints, C Andrew Lerch was a lone bright spot, collecting two hits in the shutout loss.

For Diamond Heels Marucci National, SS Matthew Teske logged three innings with six whiffs, while OF Jackson Epperson (TN) went 2-for-3 with a double, and OF Brayden Latham (TN) and Dylan Rackley each collected two hits.

Cincinnati Angels Elite 4, The Yard 13U 6 Cincinnati Angels Elite jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on a run-scoring single by 1B August Belfon (OH), but The Yard 13U answered immediately and never relinquished control, extending their advantage to 6-2 through four innings and holding on from there. Belfon finished with a multi-hit day that included a triple, while SS Brayden Cox (OH) went 2-for-the-day with a double and OF Elijah Scheiderer (OH) added a double of his own. For The Yard, Cadin Ramsey provided a two-hit effort to anchor the offense, and T. Rymer's RBI infield single helped the hosts answer early in the first.

Valor National 2031 put the game away before Diamond Jacks could blink, erupting for nine runs in the top of the first to turn LakePoint 9 into a coronation. **1B Graham Sanders** launched a three-run homer to ignite the eruption, and **3B Caleb Rogers (TN)** followed with a bases-clearing double — seven RBIs between them before the inning was done — with J. Hasty adding an RBI walk to cap the frame. Sanders finished 2-for-the-day with the long ball, while Ryan Chisolm contributed a triple. For Diamond Jacks, **Julian Mendez** was a bright spot in a lopsided afternoon, going 2-for-2 with a triple and a double, and **Noah Komline** added an extra-base knock of his own.

Ben Fitze went deep in the third to cap a 2-for-2 day that included the homer, while C Shaun Moore added a double among his two hits. On the mound, Evan Hoag was sharp through three innings — limiting the Dirtbags to one hit, generating four whiffs and striking out three against two walks.

J. Crawford's two-RBI single, 2B Jaxson Jiga (GA)'s two-RBI double, and C Collier Prentice (GA)'s sacrifice fly to center were the big blows in the frame. Jiga went 2-for-2 with the double, 1B JP Manton collected two hits with two doubles, 3B Cason Pickett (GA) and C Nolan Stone (GA) each went 2-for-2, and Prentice added a triple. For USA Prime SE, COOPER MOORE was sharp in stretches — 10 whiffs and six strikeouts across 2.2 innings — but the walks caught up to him; GRAYSON RASCO and HUDSON TOWNSLEY each went 2-for-2 at the plate, and Moore added a double himself.

OF griffin wilson delivered the decisive blow — a three-run triple that plated three runners and keyed the first-inning burst, with 2B Cameron Fincher (AL) adding an RBI single and C Cody Thornhill (AL) driving in a run on a groundout. Wilson finished with two hits including a double, while 1B Gunnar Holifield went 2-for-the-day with a double and Fincher added a second hit. On the mound, SS Cohen Letson (AL) was surgical through 2.1 innings — four strikeouts, five whiffs, zero walks, two hits allowed. For Lynx Northeast, Raul Franco provided the lone extra-base knock, a double.

For USA Scout National, Benton provided the lone extra-base knock with a double.

Knights Baseball 13u Scout erupted for seven runs in the bottom of the fourth to turn a 5-0 deficit into a 7-5 victory at LakePoint 10, with Gavin Nugent's two-run double, Brady Jones's two-run triple, and Grady Guess's RBI double doing the bulk of the damage in that decisive frame. Maverick Green worked two innings with 2 K and 3 whiffs to hold things down on the mound for the Knights, while Risley Dumas went 2-for-the-day to anchor the lineup. For Dig In Nation, Hunter Harding generated 11 whiffs across three innings with 3 K, and Ryan Sternberg (2-for-day, triple) and Rhys Kundu (2-for-day) gave the offense life, with Harald Holton adding a triple of his own — but the bullpen couldn't preserve the lead once the Knights got rolling.

For Knights Baseball 13u National, RHP Rhett Sundstrom (TN) went 2-for-3 with a double, 3B Braxton Barnett (TN) and 3B Jacob McCauley (TN) each went 2-for-3, and 1B Noah Abel (TN) showed feel on the mound with three strikeouts and three whiffs over two innings.

DOC American 13U pulled away with a four-run fourth inning, turning a 2-0 edge into a commanding lead they never relinquished on the way to a 7-2 final. Weston Stalls got the frame started with an RBI double, SS Jett Lawrence (GA) followed with an RBI triple, and H. Lucas added a sacrifice grounder to plate another. PHILIP ROUSSEAU paced the offense across the board, finishing 2-for-the-night with both a double and a triple to lead the DOC attack; C RYAN TAYLOR (GA) chipped in with an RBI double of his own. Top Tier Americans were held in check after the fourth, unable to generate anything beyond their two-run frame against a DOC club that controlled the final three innings.

T. Canada also delivered in that big inning, singling home two runs to put the game out of reach. For Virginia Blasters, C Fletcher Wells (VA) was sharp in two innings of work, striking out three while allowing zero hits and generating six whiffs, though three walks limited his efficiency. OF Miles Williams (VA) went 2-for-2 with a triple, 1B Rylen Parker (NC) added a two-hit effort, and SS Eason Willis chipped in a double.

The decisive blow came when Willie Hendon launched a three-run homer — the centerpiece of that five-run fourth — turning a deficit into a lead Top Gun would not relinquish. Sam Fetner added a two-hit effort to support the offense. For Tidewater Drillers Blue, Colton Thomas went 2-for-the-day with a double, Jones Williamson contributed a double among his hits, and Grayson Wolf also went 2-for the contest, but the Drillers couldn't overcome the fourth-inning damage.
