On Wednesday, June 17th, the PB Texas staff traveled to Euless Trinity High School in Euless, TX, to host the Dallas Summer ID, an open event for all high school classes.

Players made their way to Euless Trinity HS and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

Today, we conclude our post-event rollout by taking a look at the scouting reports on every pitcher in attendance from the event.

Dane Coley, Covenant Christian (TX), 2027
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 5-11, 220-pounds. Sloping shoulders, avg width to back and shoulders, good middle/lower.
Delivery: Knee lift to waist, floats thru balance point. Casts stride leg out and down slope, lands online with solid finish. Work to get into back leg..driving forward.
Arm Action: RH. Full circle to back, high 3/4 slot with solid finish. Recommend long toss program to increase arm speed and raw arm strength.
FB: T76, 69-76 mph. Tail, tail/sink increasing to arm side. T1845, 1639 average rpm.
CB: 65-70 mph. Soft, early action. slurvy type break. T1982, 1847 average rpm.

Ellis Seideman, Marcus (TX), 2029
Positional Profile: 1B/LHP LHH/1B can swing the bat, hits baseballs hard with line drive contact, shows raw power. Developing defensively.
Body: 5-11, 235-pounds. Width to shoulders/back, thickness to middle and lower. Will add strength. Surprising athleticism present.
Delivery: High knee lift, loads into back leg. Cast stride leg out and down slope. Lands online, chest over front leg. Solid finish.
Arm Action: LH. Cutoff circle to back. Solid layback to arm, low 3/4 slot with crossbody finish.
FB: T81, 80-81 mph. Strike thrower. Tail, tail/sink action. Velocity will develop. T2008, 1917 average rpm.
SL: 70-71 mph. 3/4 tilt showing feel for pitch. Look for spin to increase with added arm/hand speed. T1971, 1970 average rpm.

Jacob Steffek, Colleyville Heritage (TX), 2030
Positional Profile: LHP/1B LHH/OF/1B...can swing the bat. Look for raw power to come on. Defensively is developing. LHP velocity will increase, shows feel for CB. Interesting on mound in future.
Body: 6-2, 228-pounds. Width to shoulders/back, thickness to middle, lower showing some strength. Can add strength.
Delivery: Side step rocker, knee lift, drifts thru balance point. Stride leg works down the slope, lands online. Solid finish.
Arm Action: LH. Full circle to back, works well. Layback to arm on top, low 3/4 slot. Extension with crossbody finish.
FB: T80, 78-79 mph. Tail action. Will have ability to work up/down in zone. Velocity will increase. T2274, 2163 average rpm.
