Steven Solano | Rapid City Central (SD) | RHP |
|
The wiry right-handed pitcher first hopped on our radar in 2025, throwing 87 off the mound as an 8th grader. Solano has kept the progression rolling, getting up to 91 off the mound in March. Solano is on an impressive track and is projected to be one of the next premier arms out of the Northern Plains.

|
Tate took a step forward at the 2026 Dakota Top Prospect Games. The righty sat in the upper-80s, knocking on the door of 90 MPH and showed off a snappy breaker with over 3,000 RPM of spin. High ceiling, a fun arm to watch at the Super Sophomore Games this August.

|
JJ made a splash as a freshman with the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs. Starting in the middle infield, JJ impacted the game, utilizing his aggressive approach and maturity in the box.
He has added strength and size and will be a Super Sophomore Games participant for Team Minnesota.

| 4 | Cale Cleveland | Vermillion (SD) | RHP |
|
Cleveland is on a possible 2-way track in his young baseball career. He is metrically in the upper echelon for his class while still being generally raw in the game.
Cleveland will be headed down to Kansas City for the Super Sophomore Games and will continue to take strides.

| 5 | Dawson Barck | Sioux Falls Washington (SD) | RHP |
|
Standing at 6-0 and not even 150lbs, big strides are on the table for Barck. In June, Barck sat 82-84 mph and touched 85. Currently a stiff mover, he should show more output with increases in physicality and mechanical refinement.
