On Tuesday, June 23rd, the PB Texas staff traveled to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX, to host the Top Prospect Games: Fort Worth, an invite-only event for all high school classes.

More than 45 players made their way to TCU and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

We have already released a Statistical Analysis from the event, highlighting the top statistical performers. Today, we will provide our scouting takeaways on some of the prospects who stood out throughout the event.

Toby Beckham | RHP | Palestine | 2028 | R/R | 6'0" 193
Fastball touched 86 and showed the ability to work effectively to both the top and bottom of the zone. Curveball reached 77 with 12-5 shape and quality spin, while the slider flashed solid action. Secondary stuff showed average potential. There are opportunities to clean up the delivery, and the velocity should continue to increase.

Jackson Fetters | RHP | The Bennett School | 2027 | R/R | 6'1" 190 | McLennan CC commit
Quality outing from the right-hander. Fastball reached 89 with both a four-seam showing carry and a two-seam with quality sink that generated swing-and-miss. Cutter topped at 81 and flashed average action, while he mixed in a changeup with solid deception. Worked quickly and attacked hitters.

Nolan Meehlhaus | RHP/CF | Lovejoy | 2028 | R/R | 6'2" 176
Impressive athlete with quality upside. Fastball reached 89 with carry through the zone, arm-side life, and swing-and-miss ability. Changeup at 77 showed quality tail and sink, relying more on movement than deception. Slider is a developing pitch with sweep/slurve action. The FB/CH combination stood out in this look. Worked quickly on the mound.

In center field, he showed plus athleticism and ran a 6.67 60. Range is present, and he projects to have a plus arm. Showed consistent hard contact with a developing offensive approach and flashed raw pull-side power.

Gage Blankenship | RHP | Lovejoy | 2028 | R/R | 6'6" 185
Long, lanky frame with plenty of projection. The arm works well, and a velocity jump is coming. Fastball reached 88 with downhill plane, arm-side tail/sink, and carry through the zone, working effectively to three quadrants. Slider topped at 78 and flashed average action. Attacked hitters, worked quickly, and consistently threw strikes.

Finley Wilson | LHP/CF | Melissa | 2028 | L/L | 5'8" 145
Projectable athlete who will continue to add strength and size. Fastball played well at the top of the zone, reaching 87 with slight arm-side life and generating swing-and-miss. Changeup showed quality tail/sink with deception, while the curveball flashed average action despite an inconsistent release point. Have seen him sharper in previous looks. Works effectively to both the top and bottom of the zone.

In center field, Wilson showed easy range and athleticism with a 6.65 60. Line-drive, all-fields approach at the plate with power still developing. Quality two-way player who knows how to play the game.

Jacob Palacios | RHP | Claudia Taylor Johnson | 2027 | R/R | 6'1" 172
The arm works well with present arm speed. Fastball reached 87 and projects for more velocity. Shows feel for a curveball with 11-5 shape and depth, reaching 75 with up to 2400 rpm. Slider flashed quality tilt and spin. Continued velocity gains will be a key part of his development.

Max Feimster | RHP | Santa Fe | 2028 | R/R | 6'1" 190
Arm works well with solid extension at release. Fastball reached 88 with arm-side tail. Shows feel for both the slider and curveball, each flashing quality spin and action. Changeup featured tail/sink. Complete arsenal that should continue to improve.

DJ Denny | SS | Argyle | 2027 | R/R | 6'1" 183
Projects well physically. Plus runner (6.83 60) with quality infield actions and carry across the diamond. Produced hard contact throughout the event, posting the best average exit velocity. Flashed pull-side raw power and remains a player who should continue to develop physically and on the field.

Alec Andrews | C | Liberty Christian | 2027 | R/R | 5'11" 194
Solid build with room to continue adding strength. Posted 1.88-1.99 pop times in workouts and a 2.03 in-game pop with an accurate throw. Received well during game play. Aggressive hitter with a solid offensive approach and present pull-side power. Impressed both in workouts and games.

Stephen Webber | C | Boyd | 2027 | R/R | 5'9" 190
Thick, physical build with more strength to come. Quality receiver who moves well behind the plate and blocks effectively. Surprising athleticism with a 6.83 60. Pop times ranged from 1.94-2.20 in workouts and 2.04 in-game with an accurate throw. Pull-side power is present, and he showed a quality offensive approach with productive at-bats.

Kason Burger | C | Byron Nelson | 2028 | R/R | 5'10" 175
Projectable catcher with room to add strength. Ran a 7.25 60. Posted 1.94-2.08 pop times in workouts and a 2.05 in-game throw while handling the pitching staff well. Offensive approach is still developing, but he flashed pull-side raw power during batting practice.

James Brian Gil | SS | Liberty Christian | 2027 | R/R | 5'7" 150
Athletic infielder with plenty of room to add strength. Plus runner (6.67 60) who showed quality defensive actions, body control, and the ability to make plays on the move. Offensive approach is sound with the ability to handle the barrel. Showed he can really play at this event.

Mark Ogden | C | Aledo | 2028 | R/R | 5'11" 205
Solid build with room for additional strength. Ran a 6.98 60. Posted 2.01-2.08 pop times in workouts and a 2.09 in-game throw with accuracy. Continues to develop as a receiver. Aggressive hitter who flashed raw pull-side power.

Braylin Caston | INF/CF | Boswell | 2028 | S/R | 5'7" 155
Athletic switch-hitter with room to continue adding strength. Plus runner (6.74 60) with good first-step quickness. Feet work well on the infield and actions should continue to improve. Also moves well in the outfield. Offensive impact should continue to grow as he adds strength.

Graham Toogood | OF | Lubbock Cooper Liberty | 2029 | R/R | 5'10" 170
Great frame with room for added strength. Posted a 6.95 60 and should continue to improve his speed. Steady defender in the outfield with developing arm strength. Shows a solid offensive approach and the ability to consistently barrel the baseball. Offensive impact should continue to increase.

Projectable athlete who will continue to add strength. Plus runner (6.66 60) with quality movement in center field and present range. Arm strength should continue to improve. Showed a solid offensive approach with hard barrel contact and flashes of raw power.

Layton Dossett | INF | Samuel Clemens | 2027 | R/R | 5'10" 195
Physical infielder who will continue adding strength. Posted a 7.08 60 while showing quality defensive actions, carry across the diamond, and versatility around the infield. Present pull-side raw power with a developing offensive approach.

Liam Mongold | OF | Rouse | 2028 | R/R | 6'0" 175
Projectable outfielder with room to add strength. Ran a 6.99 60 and showed above-average reads off the bat. Offensive impact should continue to improve as he gets stronger. Produced quality at-bats with consistent hard line-drive contact.

Alan Mireles Madrid | C | Seminole | 2027 | R/R | 6'1" 175
Physical catcher with room to continue adding strength. Ran a 6.96 60 and posted 2.00-2.10 pop times in workouts with a 2.05 in-game throw. Raw arm strength is present, though the release can continue to improve. Handled pitchers well during game play and flashed pull-side power with consistent barrel contact.

Projectable frame with room for additional strength. Ran a 6.93 60 and showed quality defensive actions with carry across the diamond. Offensive impact should continue to improve as strength is added, flashing hard contact and present raw power.
