EVENT HISTORY

We've been hosting this event for the past 2 years, and it has provided us a look at prominent players who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the Prep Baseball Future Games and Illinois State Games. Among those in attendence of the Peoria Summer ID event in 2025, 7 have already made commitments.

Last Years Commitments

  • Jackson Ahrens (East Peoria, 2026; Northern Illinois)
  • August Burr (St. Bede Academy, 2026; McHenry County JC)
  • Parker Eggenberger (Dee-Mack, 2026; Carl Sandburg JC)
  • Garrett Matznick (Newman Central Catholic, 2026; Kaskaskia JC)

  • Caden Riley (Galesburg, 2026; Quincy University)
  • Mason Sauder (Metamora, 2026; Carl Sandburg JC)

2026 ROSTER

This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.

Peyton Delgado RHP / 2B / Mt. Zion, IL / 2027

From 4/14/26: "Uncommitted. Stands in an athletic 5-foot-10, 168-pound frame with upside. Worked two innings of relief, allowing one hit, no walks and no earned runs while striking out two on 24 pitches with 18 strikes (75%). Loose and athletic mover on the mound, stretch-only delivery, and a quick arm out of a ¾ slot. Fastball sat 81-83 mph, paired with a slider at 75-77 mph with 10/4 shape and swing-and-miss potential. An uncommitted junior arm to follow."

Ashton Miner OF / C / Newman Central Catholic, IL / 2027

From 8/5/26: "OF Ashton Miner (Newman Central Catholic, 2027) shined during the workout portion of the event. Miner is listed with a strong 5-foot-10, 184-pound athletic frame. The right-handed hitter stays on-plane with bat speed and has jump off the barrel. Miner had an average exit velocity of 89.4 mph (96.3 mph max EV) and an average batted ball distance of 200 feet (332 ft. max) with 70% hard hit percentage. Miner showed off his athleticism with a vertical jump of 26.1 inches. Miner had a strong Spring season and should be a name to keep an eye heading into next season."
