The right-handed hitter stays on-plane with bat speed and has jump off the barrel. Uncommitted. Stands in at a strong 5-foot-11, 181-pound frame. Hit out of the three-hole and went 1-for-3 with a double and a sac fly against Teutopolis, bringing in three runs on the day. Miner stands in at the plate with a square setup and a wide base, has a toe-tap trigger, and utilizes his lower half with quick hips to generate plenty of pop in the swing. Stays balanced through the swing and looks mature at the plate. Lead Newman Central with a .458 batting average as a sophomore with a home run on the year, but his raw power will be fun to track going forward. An uncommitted name to keep an eye on over the next few years.
