2026 Oklahoma Top Prospect Games Upperclass: Quick Hits

Prep Baseball Oklahoma hosted the Top Prospect Upperclass Games on the campus of Oral Roberts University on Tuesday, June 2nd featuring players from the 2026 to the 2029 class. The event featured a pro-style workout with BP, defensive evaluations, laser timed 60 yard dashes, and additionally had game play. The event was tracked with data from our tech partners Trackman, Blast Motion, and Vald. Today we take a look at some of the top performers from the event with quick notes and videos on players with a strong showing.

Brayden Andrews SS / 3B / Sapulpa, OK / 2028Rankings StateRank: 25 / POS: 9
Showing two-way upside at the showcase, INF/RHP Brayden Andrews (Sapulpa, 2028) continues to cement his status as a high-level follow in the state. Standing at a projectable 6-foot-2, 182.5 pounds, the sophomore first jumped on the mound and flashed an electric arm, pumping a heavy fastball that topped out at 89.2 mph while sitting comfortably at 86–89 mph. He carried that arm strength over to the infield, showing he can stick on the left side and showing advanced feel on the infield with athletic actions. Offensively, his efficient path to contact helped him consistently find the barrel with authority, registering a 92.4 mph peak exit velocity paired with an excellent 81.1% hard-hit rate. A highly athletic mover who also posted a 7.23 60-yard dash, his physical projection and multi-tool foundation give him a massive ceiling as he continues to mature. |

With both his physical presence and positional versatility, INF/C Nixon Baker (Canute, 2029) put together a well-rounded performance at the showcase. From an imposing and durable 6-foot-1, 209-pound frame, the freshman showed advanced strength in the batter's box, generating a sharp 94 mph peak exit velocity from the right side. His defensive tools were on full display behind the plate, showcasing clean exchanges that allowed him to log pop times ranging from 2.05–2.18 to go along with a 71 mph catcher velocity. Producing a sharp, athletic showing at ORU, OF Brooks Barber (Sapulpa, 2027) continues to trend upward as an upperclass follow and name to know. Possessing an athletic 5-foot-11, 174.6-pound frame, the uncommitted junior displayed a combination of speed and defensive arm strength, running a 7.28 60-yard dash and showing true carry with an accurate throwing arm from the OF that allows him to impact games on both sides. An efficient offensive move, his athleticism also was evident in the box. Putting together an impactful two-way display at the TP Upperclass Games, LHP/OF Journey Boswell (Preston, 2028) emerged as a highly projectable underclassman to watch. Standing at 5-foot-10 and 151.5 pounds, the southpaw displayed true arm talent on the mound, attacking the zone with an 82 mph fastball that backed up its velocity with high-spin characteristics up to 2,349 RPM. Standing out with a strong left-handed stroke at the plate, INF Charlie Castleman (Claremore, 2027) delivered an impressive showing during the Top Prospect Upperclass Games. Possessing a lean, projectable 6-foot, 163.1-pound frame, the uncommitted junior delivered loud contact throughout BP. He registered a 93 mph peak exit velocity along with a strong 86.2 mph average exit velocity while elevating his deepest ball an estimated 327 feet. Establishing himself as a premier left-handed arm to know in Oklahoma's junior class, LHP Grady Glidden (Moore, 2027) turned in one of the most dominant performances of the entire day on the mound. Standing at a long, lean-levered 6-foot-2, 170 pounds with substantial physical projection remaining, the uncommitted southpaw commanded the strike zone down and to both sides of the plate with a high-spin four-pitch mix. With visible physical strength throughout a durable 5-foot-10, 202.2-pound frame, the sophomore uses an easy, efficient offensive move with athleticism and adjustability present. He consistently used the whole field throughout BP while adding a pair of hits in game play with each working through the yard. He translated that natural physical strength over to his defensive workout, moving with sure-handed footwork at the corner spots and throwing with carry from third base. Gore has shown to be one of the more polished hitters, regardless of class, in the entire state, and he added to that at ORU. |

Flashing true athleticism and tools across the board during the TP Upperclass Games, INF/RHP Derek Hamon (Mangum, 2028) once again showcased present ability with projection for the future. Carrying an athletic, 6-foot-1, 176.4-pound frame, the sophomore first generated serious buzz on the lasers by firing a quick 6.93 60-yard dash and showing burst of quickness with a 3.81 30-yard split. He carried that quick-twitch athleticism straight over to his defensive workout, moving with clear intent while uncorking an 83 mph throwing velocity across the infield. At the plate, his athleticism was visible in his offensive move, registering an 87.7 mph peak exit velocity along with an above average 79.9% sweet spot rate. To cap off the day, Hamon hopped on the bump and flashed a true power mix, running his fastball up in the mid 80s while complementing the heater with a sharp slider and an effective fading changeup. |

Bradley Hastings SS / RHP / Bishop Kelley, OK / 2028Putting together a completely dominant performance at ORU, INF/RHP Bradley Hastings (Bishop Kelley, 2028) established himself as an elite, high-octane two-way prospect. Carrying an athletic 6-foot-2, 180.8-pound frame, the sophomore posted a 6.81 60-yard dash and an event-leading 3.74 30-yard split while reaching a maximum running speed of 20.2 mph. His high-level athletic burst translated directly onto the infield, where he showcased range and a premium arm that delivered a 90 mph bullet across. In the batter's box, his physical switch-hitting stroke produced plenty of loud contact, clicking a 99.6 mph peak exit velocity along with a 90.6 mph average exit velocity during his BP rounds. With a nice combination of present athleticism to go along with a highly projectable frame at 6-foot, 145 lbs, MIF Tyler Klugh (Victory Christian, 2028) put together an impressive performance at ORU and will be an exciting prospect to watch as he continues to add strength. The rising junior clocked a strong 6.96 60-yard dash to open the day. Defensively, Klugh was solid up the middle and was gunned at up to 79 mph tossing it across the diamond. At the plate, he showcased an ability to drive the ball to the middle of the field with a consistent line drive approach while also flashing some power with a max-distance of 313 feet. |

Rylan Kuklinski C / 2B / Mount St. Mary, OK / 2027Rankings StateRank: 67 / POS: 13
A stock-up prospect on the back of an excellent end to the spring season, C Rylan Kuklinski (Mount St Mary, 2027) continued to show an excellent blend of raw strength and high-level tools both behind the dish and at the plate. Standing at 5-foot-10, 180 lbs, the MSM Rocket has a strong, compact frame that lends itself well to the power. Kuklinski is one of the better power-hitting backstops in the class, and showcased some of that pop in Tulsa, with exit velocities climbing into the low to mid 90s and a solid 33% hard hit percentage. Defensively, he utilized nice arm strength behind the dish, clocking at 76 mph on the gun, to put down impressive pop time numbers as low as 1.91 seconds. |

Nate Miller 1B / LHP / Elk City, OK / 2027Rankings StateRank: 219 / POS: 10
Well-built with a strong frame standing at 5-foot-10, 231.9 lbs, 1B Nate Miller (Elk City, 2027) had a strong showing at Oral Roberts University, with his performance headlined by an excellent round of BP in the workout portion of the event. Miller continues to be an interesting follow as a switch-hitting first baseman with easy power and a smooth swing from both sides of the dish. He consistently displayed an ability to drive the ball pull-side from both sides, and ran his exit velocity numbers up to 96.9 mph, good for the second best EV of the event. Defensively, Miller looked comfortable in the field at first base, and displayed nice arm strength tossing it around the infield at 77 mph. He also showcased high-level athleticism and speed for his frame, clocking a sub 7.00 60-yard dash to kick off his workout, clocking in at 6.98 seconds on the lasers. |

Nieto showcased clean actions at the plate, which translated to an impressive 67% sweet spot percentage and 50% line drive rate that give confidence about how well the swing will play as he continues to add strength to boost the power numbers. He was clean defensively in the infield, and tossed it across the diamond at 79 mph. |

A prospect with intriguing upside as he continues to add strength to his lean 5-foot-10, 148 lbs frame, OF Jarret Norman (Berryhill, 2028) showcased great athleticism throughout the entire event. Opening the day with a 6.83 60-yard dash, Norman has more than enough speed to operate at a high level defensively in the outfield at the next level. There is also some nice present arm strength, being gunned at 84 mph, a number that could very well climb into plus arm strength territory as he continues to add strength. |

Another name to know as a catcher in the 2028 in-state class, C Ethan Parrish (Southmoore, 2028) put together a well-rounded performance in Tulsa. Behind the dish he showcased some nice actions defensively, putting down pop times as low as 1.90 seconds while being gunned at 75 mph. Parrish possesses above-average athleticism for the position, clocking a 6.98 60-yard dash time and reaching a max sprint speed of 19.9 mph while measuring a vertical jump of 23.6 inches. The second highest ranked outfielder in Oklahoma’s 2028 class, OF Jasper Reid (Broken Arrow, 2028) put on a display worthy of the lofty ranking at the Upperclass Games. Reid has consistently proven to be one of the best bats in the class, with exit velocities reaching the upper 90s and a max distance of 321 feet. The rising junior is also one of the best athletes in the state, with an impressive blend of strength and speed. That athleticism was on full display in the 60-yard dash where Reid clocked a strong time of 6.88 seconds. The strength was evident both in his round of BP as well as his defensive reps where he was gunned at up to 86 mph tossing it in from the outfield. Standing at 5-foot-11, 165 lbs, Reid presents a very intriguing mix of upside as he adds more strength to a lean frame, as well as some exciting present tools that make him one of the hardest guys to play against in the class. |

A recent Connors State commit, C Terrance Rideau (Midwest City, 2027) is an interesting follow as one of the top players on a Midwest City squad that made a run to the state tournament last spring. Standing at 5-foot-8, 151 lbs, he has some exciting upside as he continues to add strength to this frame and should continue to see jumps in the power numbers to go along with some nice present tools. After opening the day with an impressive 60 time of 6.84 seconds, Rideau put together some nice reps defensively behind the dish, with pop times as low as 1.97. At the plate, Rideau put up some solid numbers, with an average EV of 84.1 mph. |

Ace Roland OF / 3B / Broken Arrow, OK / 2028Rankings StateRank: 47 / POS: 11
An intriguing two-way prospect with high upside thanks to a lean, projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 169 lbs, OF/RHP Ace Roland (Broken Arrow, 2028) was impressive across the board at ORU. On the mound, Roland utilizes a three-pitch mix highlighted by a fastball that has been up to 86 mph while sitting at 83-85 mph. He spins it at a high-level, with an average spin rate of 2,453 rpm, and gets great ride at the top of the zone with up to 21.7 IVB. The breaking offering is a big slider and he utilizes a changeup with some nice arm side fade as his third pitch. As an outfielder, has a plus arm with velocities up to 89 mph. The rising junior opened the day with an impressive 6.82 second 60-yard dash time, good for the best time by any catcher on the day. Defensively, he put down a good pop time at 1.90, and showcased some present arm strength that played best in the outfield where he was gunned at 83 mph. |

A great athlete with an impressive blend of strength and speed already while being easily projectable as a high-upside prospect as he continues to fill out his 5-foot-11, 161 lbs frame, INF Talon Scott (Weatherford, 2027) put together a nice showing at ORU. At the plate, the rising senior saw his exit velocities climb as high as 93.4 mph, with a max distance of 303 feet and a solid sweet spot percentage of 63%. Defensively, Scott has clean actions on the infield with nice arm strength, firing across the diamond at 82 mph. Scott also performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a sub-7.00 time at 6.97 seconds. |

The sixth ranked first baseman in the 2027 class, 1B Colton Seaman (Deer Creek, 2027) performed well across the board at ORU. At the dish, the rising senior saw his exit velocities climb into the low 90s with a sweet spot percentage of 36%. Seaman had nice actions defensively at first base, while showing some solid arm strength at 78 mph across the infield. |

Baylor Shaw C / 3B / Enid, OK / 2028The second ranked catcher and 11th overall player in the state’s 2028 class, C Baylor Shaw (Enid, 2028) displayed many of the tools that earned him a high ranking at this summer’s Upperclass Games. The bat is the headlining aspect of his game, with exit velocities as high as 94 mph and a sweet spot percentage of 66.7. WIth an athletic, projectable frame at 6-foot-1, 178 lbs, the already nice power numbers should only continue to jump as he continues to add more strength. Behind the dish, Shaw was clean defensively, putting down pop times as low as 1.97 seconds while being gunned at 75 mph. |

Tyler Sparks C / RHP / Sapulpa High School, OK / 2027Rankings StateRank: 52 / POS: 9
Ever the versatile weapon, RHP/UTL Tyler Sparks (Sapulpa, 2027) has worked out as a pitcher, catcher, infielder and outfielder this summer alone, however the rising senior would focus his showcase on the mound and outfield at ORU. Sparks opened the day with a nice 60-yard dash time, clocking a 7.13, before showing off the cannon in the outfield where he was gunned at 88 mph, putting him in a tie for the third best outfield velocity of the day. At the plate he had a consistent feel for finding the barrel and displayed some present power with exit velocities creeping into the low 90s. The versatile athlete’s arm strength translated well from the outfield to on the mound where he was up to 85.6 mph while sitting 83-85 on a fastball that he spins well at an average of about 2,150 rpm. The pitch-mix also includes two distinct breaking pitches, one a true slider with heavy glove side movement, and the other more of a curveball shape with much more depth. He also attacks hitters with a changeup in the mid 70s with lots of arm side fade that he has a great feel for the command of. |

Miles Stanley SS / 2B / Mount St. Mary, OK / 2027Rankings StateRank: 34 / POS: 8
After an excellent spring helping lead his school to the 4A state championship game, INF Miles Stanley (Mount St Mary, 2027) continues to impress in each of our looks at him this summer. The middle infielder uses crisp actions with some nice present arm strength to complete a nice defensive profile. Stanley also ran well, clocking a 7.07 60-yard dash, though he has flashed even better speed this summer at other events with times as low as 6.88 seconds on his best day. At the plate, Stanley utilizes a compact, flat bat path through the zone and has proven to have a nice feel for the barrel. |

Brodie Stockard C / RHP / Bixby, OK / 2028Rankings StateRank: 54 / POS: 9
Putting together one of the more impressive all-around performances of all the two-way prospects in attendance, C/OF/RHP Brodie Stockard (Bixby, 2028) showcased a toolsy skillset with exciting upside as he continues to add strength to his 6-foot-1, 187 lbs frame. The rising junior worked out defensively as both a catcher and outfielder and was impressive at both spots. He put up his best numbers behind the dish, clocking an event best pop time of 1.82 while being gunned at 79 mph throwing it down, also the highest of the day. The arm strength was evident as he hopped on the mound as well, as the fastball topped out at 87.7 mph while sitting at 83-86 mph. He works off the fastball with a pair of offspeed offerings, one of which is a big curveball that sits in the low 70s and features some nice depth and glove-side movement. The other is a changeup in the upper 70s with some nice arm-side run to play off the fastball nicely. |

Clayton Strange OF / Yukon, OK / 2027Rankings StateRank: 73 / POS: 17
One of the top performers of the day, OF/RHP Clayton Strange (Yukon, 2027) was impressive as a two-way prospect at the Upperclass Games. On the mound, the headlining pitch for Strange is the high-spin fastball that he ran up to 87 mph at ORU with nice carry at the top of the zone. Working off the heater, Strange utilizes a pair of breaking balls in a curveball and slider. The curveball is slower and features a bigger shape with some more depth and glove-side movement, while the slider is more of a gyro slider with shorter, but sharper, movement. The arm strength translates well to the outfield where Strange fired it in at up to 87 mph. Strange will be an exciting follow moving into his senior spring as he helps lead a stacked Yukon squad with high expectations heading into the season. |

An exciting prospect to watch thanks to his high-level athleticism and the upside that comes along with his projectable 6-foot-2, 158 lbs frame, INF Cooper Suarez (Bethany, 2028) made a splash with a good showing in Tulsa. Suarez opened the day by showcasing the most developed tool in his skillset to this point, his speed, by running one of the top 60-yard dash times of the event at 6.81 seconds. He showed off solid arm strength defensively, tossing it around the infield at 80 mph. |

Jaxon Southerland RHP / 3B / Elgin, OK / 2027Rankings StateRank: 46 / POS: 11
A consistent presence at the top of the Elgin rotation throughout his career, RHP Jaxon Southerland (Elgin, 2027) was impressive in our look at him on the mound at ORU. It’s a three-pitch mix for Southerland, with a mid 80s fastball as the primary offering. The heater topped out at 86.1 mph and was consistently spinning in the 2,100s with nice ride at the top of the zone with up to 21.1 IVB. A heavy slider is the breaking pitch of choice for the rising senior, and the offering sits 71-73 with sharp glove side movement and nice depth. He also utilizes a mid 70s changeup with arm-side fade as a change of pace offering, and flashed the necessary command with it in order to steal strikes early in counts. |

Luke Rudick RHP / 3B / Berryhill High School, OK / 2028Rankings StateRank: 72 / POS: 11
An intriguing athlete on the mound as he continues to develop and add strength to his 6-foot-1, 200 lbs frame, RHP Luke Rudick (Berryhill, 2028) showcased plenty of present tools at this year’s Upperclass Games. Attacking hitters from an over-the-top arm slot, Rudick’s arsenal features four different offerings, the primary pitch being a mid 80s fastball. The heater sits in the 82-84 mph range, and profiles as a true four-seam though it does feature some nice arm-side run. He utilizes two distinct breaking balls, a curveball that sits at 70-71 and features a shorter shape with more north-south movement than his slider, which sits closer to the mid 70s at 74-76 mph and features heavy east-west shape with up to -18.5 HM. An upper 70s changeup is the final of four offerings, and features some nice late fade. |

After bursting onto the scene last spring as a major contributor in the heart of the order for the 6A state champions, UTL Parker Weston (Mustang, 2028) put on a show at ORU in the Upperclass Games. Showcasing plenty of positional versatility, Weston took defensive reps both in the infield and outfield and looked comfortable in both spots while showcasing nice arm strength, in particular in the outfield where he was gunned at up to 85 mph. The 2026 Future Gamer also put on a show in the 60-yard dash where clocked a top-five time of the day at 6.80. At the plate, Weston was all over the barrel with a 62% sweet spot percentage and a solid hard hit percentage of 23.1% while reaching exit velocities as high as 94.1 mph. |

A fun prospect to watch thanks to a great blend of current tools and athleticism to go along with high-upside and a projectable 6-foot, 187 lbs frame, INF Braylon White (Dale, 2027) White put together another great showcase at ORU. The rising senior kicked his afternoon off with one of the three fastest 60-yard dash times of the day, running a 6.71 on the lasers. White possesses really nice arm strength in the infield as well, tossing it across the diamond at 84 mph, though we’ve seen him as high as 87 mph on his best days. At the plate, White was consistently able to find the barrel to drive the ball to all parts of the field, with a hard hit percentage of 25% and exit velocities up to 92.1 mph. |

With a long, lean frame at 6-foot, 178 lbs, RHP Erik Williams (Sapulpa, 2028) should continue to see jumps in his already solid numbers on the mound as he continues to add more strength. The fastball sits at 79-81 with a few 82s in the tank at its best, and gets lots of carry at the top of the zone thanks to his long, over-the-top arm action. The three-pitch mix also features a high spin slider with sharp, short shape, and a mid 70s changeup. |

Keon Young OF / RHP / Enid, OK / 2027Putting together one of the most impressive showings of the event, now Oklahoma State commit OF/RHP Keon Young (Enid, 2027) turned heads with huge numbers across the board throughout the day. The Stillwater-bound senior opened the day by running the best 60 time of the day at 6.40 seconds, before making things look easy defensively in the outfield, delivering a top three outfield velocity of the day at 88 mph. At the plate, he was consistently on the barrel, with exit velocities as high as 96 mph. Hopping on the mound for the game portion of the event, Young ran it up to an eye-popping 92.2 mph with a high spin fastball. He utilized a hard gyro slider as his only breaking ball, spinning it well at up to 2,339 rpm to produce sharp, short shape. |
