As the calendar turns to May, we update our Power 25. This week we saw our Power 25 perform at a high level as teams went a combined 67-19. This update features a few changes due to results on the field as well as still some projection with the talent on the field.   All scores and records are from the OSSAA Rankings page.

Owasso stays in our top spot as they have reached the 30-win mark and sit at 30-2 on the season after a 3-0 week. At 2, Edmond Memorial currently sit at 26-5 following a District Sweep. Bixby remains at 3, improving to 26-6 on the year following another district sweep and a late week win over Bishop Kelley. Blanchard remains at 4 as they have now won 17 in a row and sit at 27-1 overall. Finally, rounding out our Top 5 is Edmond Santa Fe after an undefeated week including a big district sweep over Moore as they are now 25-7 on the season.

Duncan is once against amongst our biggest riser following a District Sweep over Elgin in what was a highly competitive and contested series that saw extra innings on Tuesday. They have now won 13 in a row leading to that District Title. Also worth noting that Newcastle had their own big week as they improved to 28-4 on the back of a 6-0 week including a couple statement wins.

Making their entry into the Power 25 is Bethany. They check in at 25, with a record of 23-5. They have now won six in a row with a stretch that includes wins over ranked squads Tuttle, Elk City, and Mount St Mary.

The meat of the rankings generally stay the course with numerous teams continuing to stack wins. We have another great week of games on tap and look forward to the postseason as it begins for some this week and next week for others.
