Team Maryland continued their gameplay action with game 2 vs. Team New Jersey. The offense was in full control of this one, notching 6 hits across the 4 innings of work, scoring 11 runs, and inducing 6 free passes. In the 1st, Mason Cadden produced a RBI double over the right fielder's head that got the scoring started, followed by a huge two-out RBI double off the bat of Matt Johnson and a RBI single off the bat of Chase Madden, as Team Maryland took a 3-0 early lead after 1. In the 3rd, Beckett Martin highlighted the scoring with a bullet RBI single into left field, as Team Maryland would extend the lead to 7-0. Matt Kuna-Neto joined in on the action in the 4th, producing a loud bases-clearing triple down the left field line, extending the score to 11-1. Team Maryland would slam the door in the 5th, moving their overall record to 2-0 on the week.
