EMERSON, GA - The best uncommitted senior talent continued their times at Future Games week at LakePoint in Georgia for the 2026 Senior Future Games. Teams from across the country will be showcasing their skills in front of coaches from across the country. 

The Team West Coast squad is composed of players from the states of California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada. Day two featured a doubleheader of games for the squad as they faced off in the afternoon with Team Canada and wrapped up the event by squaring off with Team Mid-Atlantic in the nightcap.

GAME TWO RECAP:

Opening up the second day of the Senior Future Games by facing our neighbors to the north in Team Canada, the bats for Team West Coast were ready to roll from the first pitch. In a day highlighted by the consistently loud contact and eye-opening performance of Parker Lipp, who opened the day by lacing a double down the LF line, then followed it up by taking it to the next level in his next AB by launching a no-doubt home run to straightaway RF. Lipp showed off the most well-rounded skill set and ability to perform on a large stage of any player here for Team West Coast.

Adding to the offensive attack for the West Coast was Sebastian Navarro, who stung a single; Jace Wooley collected two knocks in the game with multiple stolen bases and drove in three runs; Trey Howell-Chase drilled a double to RF, Sebastien Grove added another single to his week and Mason Park drew a pair of walks.

On the mound, Emmett Maloney opened the game with an excellent performance, tossing two innings of hitless and scoreless work. Living in the upper 80's while touching 90 on his FB and landing a quality 77-80 MPH CHG, 76-79 MPH SLD, and a top-down 73-75 MPH CB, Maloney picked up a double play in the 1st inning of work and two punchouts in the second inning of work. 

GAME THREE RECAP:

Finishing up their three games with a tilt against the squad from Mid-Atlantic, where the hot bats from the West Coast just continued to hit. Yet again, the bat of Parker Lipp provided a highlight as he picked up yet another double to continue his case for the Senior Future Games MVP award. But it wasn't just Lipp in the game hammering baseballs as both Austin Olness and Mason Park unloaded on no-doubt homers to straightaway LF. Behind those two, Sebastien Grove collected another hit, reaching base via a hit in every game of the event while playing stellar defense all over the INF. Trey Howell-Chase collected his third hit in three games and his second double, drilling a ball into RCF. Tristan Puga, who had a stellar two days behind the plate with multiple runners thrown out, stung a hard single up the middle. 

Cooper Benjamin returned to LakePoint after being part of Team Northern California in 2025 to put up one of the best two innings of work of any arm for the West Coast squad by retiring all six hitters he faced with three strikeouts. The southpaw lived at 85-88 on his FB, showing sink and run to the arm side while backing it up with feel for a 75-78 MPH CB that has high-level spin traits and an intriguing 74-75 MPH CHG with tumble.

Mac Kennedy, the burly-framed southpaw out of Sierra Canyon, showed solidly for the West Coast squad with a FB up to 87 that had sink and run, pairing it with a quality breaking ball in the 71-74 MPH range that spins above 2500 RPMs and a deceptive CHG at 78-81 MPH. Over his two innings of work, the lefthander threw consistent strikes and added a strikeout.
