2026 Team Oklahoma Future Games Preview

From Tuesday, July 21st, through Sunday, July 26th, the Prep Baseball Future Games will take place at the state-of-the-art LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, GA. Since the event’s inception in 2011, the Prep Baseball Future Games has evolved into the biggest college scouting event in the country, with more than 400 college coaches in attendance last year. The bedrock of the event, the 16U division returns, and we will again feature a 14U Junior Future Games division in addition to the third year of the 17U Senior Future Games.

Per usual, the SoonerState will be proudly represented at the nation's top uncommitted event, with a multitude of the state's top talents making the trip down to LakePoint this upcoming week. Below you will learn more about the players that make up Team Oklahoma for the 2026 Future Games.

Casey Allee Jr RHP / Stillwater, OK / 2028Allee Jr. comes to Team OK following a dominant stretch on the mound throughout the spring that has continued into the summer months. Representing Stillwater, the 6'1", 170-pound right-hander features a strong mix that continues to trend upward. His fastball works into the upper 80s with command to both edges that has been difficult for opposing hitters to barrel. The high IVB and low HM has made it a valuable offering working up in the zone.. He pairs the heater with a consistently shaped overhand curve ball that he can land for strikes and get swing and miss late in counts as well as a changeup that gives him a weapon to attack LHH. As Allee continues to fill out his projectable frame, and visible athleticism on the bump and fielding his position, he gives Team Oklahoma a high-upside arm to watch closely at the Future Games. |

Talon Arnold RHP / Calumet, OK / 2028Arnold enters the mix for Team Oklahoma as an incredibly intriguing, high-ceiling prospect representing Calumet. Standing at 5'11” with a lean frame, Arnold has continued a steady rise in his development with polish throughout his entire mix and command to work to all four quadrants. Coming off both a fall and spring state title at Calumet, the wiry prospect is a winner with visible competitiveness and the ability to work through lineups multiple times. Oozing upside and projectability, Arnold was a huge part of Calumet's success in the 25-26 school year with evidentdevelopment throughout. A legitimate 2-way prospect, Arnold will be pitching for Team Oklahoma with a strong foundation but loaded with upside and one of the higher ceilings in the state. |

Boston Baker RHP / Canute, OK / 2028Baker debuts in the Future Games mix as a highly projectable prospect flashing significant upside out of Canute. The 6'1", 157-pound sophomore possesses an athletic, developing frame with room to continue growing and developing. On the mound, the right-hander features a polished three-pitch arsenal, running his fastball into the upper 80s with life. He pairs the fastball with a slider and changeup that allow him to attack both RHH and LHH alike. We have seen big arm talent from Baker with positional velos north of 90 mph and versatility to compete across the diamond. A legitimate 2-way prospect at the next level, he will just pitch this week but offers upside throughout his game. Baker gives Team Oklahoma a toolsy, high-ceiling option with a skillset that is a must-follow throughout the week. |

Bayler Black C / Caddo, OK / 2028Black heads into the Future Games as a highly regarded backstop with the upside to be a middle of the order force at the next level. A physical target at catcher, 6'2" and 187 pounds, the left-handed hitting catcher brings a projectable frame and immense upside to Team Oklahoma. Offensively, he has shown an advanced, mature gap-to-gap approach, and the ability to be a run producer in any lineup that he is in. Defensively, he is a strong battery mate with the ability to handle high level pitching and manage a staff. An athlete behind the dish, Black is a high ceiling prospect with catch and throw ability defensively and a LHH power bat to anchor the middle of the order at the next level. |

Jack Brady OF / Washington, OK / 2028Brady comes into the Future Games as a steady contributor, bringing a high-impact combination of power and speed from Washington. Standing at 6'1" and 170 pounds, we have seen him play plus defense in centerfield with the ability to go get it as well as throw - up to 90 from the OF. Offensively, he displays a mature approach that works through the middle of the yard, translating to a peak exit velocity of 96.5 mph and the speed to further pressure defenses as a 6.84 runner. With a loud set of tools, Brady joins Team Oklahoma as an athlete with massive upside and projectability that continues to develop in all facets of his game. |

Easton Dobson OF/LHP / Piedmont, OK / 2028Dobson joins Team Oklahoma with one of the highest ceilings and an advanced hit tool. Representing Piedmont, the 6'2", 178-pound LHH outfielder regularly showcases advanced feel in the box - consistently on time, disciplined in his direction, and has the ability to quickly make adjustments within at bat. Offensively, the wiry framed outfielder offers plenty of current production as well as upside and projection in the future. We have seen exit velos north of 100 mph with in-game production to match with arm strength in the outfield up to 91 mph. Dobson gives Team Oklahoma a projectable, consistent producer in the lineup and in the outfield. |

Bryson Francis RHP / Owasso, OK / 2028Francis joins the Team Oklahoma roster as an exceptionally projectable, high-ceiling right-handed pitcher from Owasso. Standing at an athletic 6'0" and 180 pounds, he has shown arm talent from both centerfield and on the mound with the athleticism and 2-way upside to impact games on both sides of the ball at the next level. On the mound, the right-hander features a commanding arsenal headlined by a fastball with plenty of life that has worked up to 90 mph. He complements the heater with a slider that works into the upper 70s, tunnels well off his fastball, and gives him a legitimate swing and miss pitch against talented offenses. The slider works into the low 80s with low IVB and gives him plenty of swing and miss late in counts. Finally, he has shown signs of advanced feel for the changeup as he attacks LHH. A legitimate 2-way prospect at the next level as he plays exceptional centerfield with tools to consistently pressure defenses on the offensive side, Francis provides Team Oklahoma with a dynamic athlete, power-armed presence with monster upside to follow closely this week. |

Cruz Garrett INF/RHP / Dale, OK / 2028Garrett is coming off a monster spring at Dale that saw the sophomore two-way prospect heavily impact games from the middle of the lineup for the state tournament team. Standing at 5'11" and 174 pounds, he features one of the most well-rounded skillsets in the entire class as both a position player on the infield and a high-upside arm on the mound. An exceptionally easy and athletic mover, Garrett’s production reaches all parts of his game - 6.75 60 and the upper 80s across the diamond. On the mound, his massive ceiling takes center stage; complete command of a mix that he can manipulate to attack both RHH and LHH alike and a fastball up to 90. Garrett gives Team Oklahoma a highly dynamic, game-changing presence with elite two-way upside that is a must see for schools at the next level. |

Cal Gore CIF / Enid, OK / 2028Gore enters the mix for Team Oklahoma with an advanced hit tool offering some of the most consistent production in the state. Standing at 5'10" and 202 pounds, sophomore RHH infielder has consistently demonstrated one of the most polished approaches in the state with XBH ability to all fields. His heavy impact at the plate is thoroughly backed by elite metrics, featuring a massive 101.2 mph max exit velocity and exceptional bat to ball for a middle of the order presence. Defensively, he has shown the ability to defend at both corners of the infield, offering versatility as a sure-handed defender. A reliable producer who has anchored the middle of the order for the Plainsmen the last two years, Gore provides Team Oklahoma with steady production and reliable defense on the infield. |

Bradley Hastings INF/RHP / Bishop Kelley, OK / 2028Hastings heads into the Future Games with a monster ceiling that matches his spring for Bishop Kelley that has continued into the summer months. Standing at a long, projectable 6'3" and 173 pounds, the BK sophomore flashes high-end potential but not to be overshadowed by the current skillset and production. A switch-hitter with an advanced understanding of how to use his long levers to elevate the baseball, Hastings continues to develop more power to pair with his already advanced hit tool - we have seen exit velos north of 102 mph. His raw power and advanced bat speed (80.9 mph max) are matched by the athleticism we see throughout the game, as seen with the 6.81 60 time. Also an imposing presence on the mound, his fastball has touched 90.4 mph, paired with a high spin slider. Hastings brings an enormous ceiling to Team Oklahoma and is one of the region's premier must-follow prospects. |

Aiden Hendren RHP / Owasso, OK / 2028Hendren heads to the Future Games as arguably the most polished pitching prospect in the state with understanding of his stuff and how to attack opposing hitters. Standing at 6'1" and 209 pounds, he showcases a work horse frame that is built for logging innings and working deep into games. On the mound, the right-hander features a power mix headlined by a fastball that has been clocked up to 91.7 mph, consistently attacking the zone.. He complements the fastball with a slider and changeup to attack both RHH and LHH alike. The slider is firm with limited IVB and tunnels well with the fastball. Hendren gives Team Oklahoma a premier, high-ceiling arm with both current polish and the upside to continue growing and developing at the next level. |

Blaine Hollingshead OF/LHP / Yukon, OK / 2028Hollingshead joins Team Oklahoma as one of the top in-game producers in the last calendar year with upside to continue developing. Standing at an athletic 6'1" and 175 pounds, he showcases a well-rounded game with the ability to impact games on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the right-handed hitting outfielder consistently showcases a mature approach, working through the middle of the yard with good direction. An above average runner at 6.78 in the 60, Hollingshead can pressure teams offensively, but can also play above average defense with both his speed and above average and accurate throwing arm which we have seen up to 88 mph. Hollingshead gives Team Oklahoma a highly dynamic outfielder that can both drive in runs and create offense on his own with a power/speed combo. |

Kai Horne INF/RHP / Deer Creek, OK / 2028Horne comes to Team Oklahoma as a rangy infielder with a combination of current on-field production and room for future projection. Standing at 6'2" and 189 pounds, the physical sophomore possesses a strong current skillset with feel and understanding for playing the game. Offensively, the right-handed hitter has shown extra-base hit ability and a mature approach at the plate, showcasing comfort backspinning the baseball to the pull side and producing XBHs. He has a clear understanding of how to move through the middle of the yard with good direction. A sure-handed defender across the infield and arm strength to stick on the left side, Horne provides Team Oklahoma with a skilled infielder that can drive in runs near the top of the order. |

Beckham Johnson C / Stillwater, OK / 2028Johnson joins Team Oklahoma as a high upside backstop with an advanced athletic profile out of Stillwater. Standing at 5'9" and 184 pounds, he has shown a robust combo of power metrics and premium athleticism for a catcher. Offensively, we have seen big metrics that feed the projectability such as exit velos approaching triple digits and a 60 as low as 6.94. The athleticism shows up both offensively but also behind the dish. Defensively, the velo continues to rise from behind the plate, up to 78 mph, with quick feet and good exchanges. Johnson gives Team Oklahoma a highly dynamic, well-rounded presence behind the plate who can impact games in multiple ways. |

Zayden Khalil INF/OF / Yukon, OK / 2028Khalil heads into the Future Games as a dynamic athlete with a monster ceiling out of Yukon. A physical presence,, the 6'1", 208-pound infielder pairs an advanced power profile with elite running tools that allow him to impact games at a high level. Offensively, Khalil has proven his ability to generate heavy impact, turning in a max exit velocity of 97.2 mph but discipline to work through the middle of the yard. He has turned in 60 times as low as 6.72 60 that has added to his versatility and ability to defend in the outfield as well. Following a strong spring for Yukon and a state semifinal finish, Khalil gives Team Oklahoma a highly physical, versatile prospect with a massive ceiling. |

Finley Kouplen RHP / Metro Christian Academy, OK / 2028Kouplen suits up for Team Oklahoma as a high-pitchability prospect with stuff that continues to trend upward out of Metro Christian Academy. Standing at an athletic 6'1" and 180 pounds, the right hander offers a mix of projectable physical traits and current production to the mound. On the mound, the right-hander features a dynamic arsenal headlined by a fastball that sits in the mid-80s with a lively profile. He complements the fastball with a slider and change up that he tunnels well off the heater. Each of the secondary offerings give him an above average offering to attack RHH and LHH alike. Showing immense pitchability, Kouplen is a name to know with plenty of room to continue growing while offering an advanced feel for pitching. |

Jackson Mays INF/RHP / Washington, OK / 2028Mays joins Team Oklahoma as a highly competitive in-game producer representing traditional powerhouse Washington. Standing at 5'11" and 175 pounds, he offers both current production in addition to room for future projection. Offensively, he is an easy mover with feel for cross-bodying balls and elevating pull side. The stereotypical player coaches want in the middle of the diamond, Mays has shown to be a high IQ and sure-handed defender with the arm strength to stick on the left side. He will be a name to know this week with a combination of current on-field production, top of the order skillset, and sure-handed infield defense for Team Oklahoma. |

Easten Powell INF / Clinton, OK / 2028Powell enters the Future Games mix as a highly physical infielder that is loaded with upside and projectability. Standing at 6'0" and 185 pounds, the right-handed hitting shortstop has shown the ability to impact the baseball at a high level with loud contact. With exit velos up to 98 mph, Powell is still just scratching the surface as a multi-sport athlete. On the infield, he has shown polish with awareness and feel for his feet and throws with good carry. Powell provides Team Oklahoma with a physical defender that can stick on the left side of the diamond, and a premium run-producing threat packed with upside to watch closely. |

Offensively, he displays easy power from the right side with exit velocities approaching triple digits and a 6.88 60 that give him a true combination of power and speed. Tripp Thomas INF/OF/RHP / Heritage Hall, OK / 2028Thomas heads into the Future Games as a physically imposing and highly versatile utility prospect representing Heritage Hall. Standing at an impressive 6'3" and 206 pounds, the right handed hitter has been a combination of current in-game production and monster upside and projectability over the past two seasons. Offensively, he has shown elite bat speed maxing out at 79.4 mph to leverage balls with up to 101 mph max EV. Defensively, his athleticism and versatility have made him a premium prospect, even more so in today’s game, with his ability to defend throughout the outfield and at third base. Parker Weston OF/INF / Mustang, OK / 2028Weston joins Team Oklahoma as a highly athletic and versatile utility prospect out of Mustang. Standing at 6'0" and 184 pounds, the sophomore was a huge part of the 6A state title run for the Broncos and his ability to pressure defenses with a combination of power and speed. Offensively, we have seen steady in-game production against high level arms as well as consistent pressure on the basepaths as a 6.8 runner. His natural athleticism allows him to comfortably impact games all over the field with above average defense both on the left side of the infield and in centerfield. Weston gives Team Oklahoma an incredibly dynamic, versatile high-ceiling option for schools to watch closely throughout the week. |
