2026 Rising Stars ID: Campbell - Leaderboards, Notes & Analysis
The 2026 Rising Stars ID: Campbell continued Prep Baseball North Carolina's summer showcase schedule as players from the 2030 & 2031 grad classes gathered on Wednesday, July 1st at Campbell University for a complete pro-style evaluation. Designed to provide updated player profiles while identifying talent for future state, regional, and national events, the Rising Stars ID gave young players an opportunity to showcase their skills while learning how to prepare and execute their skills in the workout environment.
The day began with offensive evaluations as hitters completed multiple rounds of batting practice. TrackMan technology captured batted ball data and ball flight metrics. Following batting practice, players worked through defensive evaluations from their primary positions, allowing the Prep Baseball scouting staff to evaluate athleticism, footwork, hands, arm strength, exchanges, and overall defensive actions. Running evaluations followed using VALD Athletics laser timing technology, recording both 10-yard and 30-yard split times along with each player's full 60-yard dash.
The event concluded with controlled bullpen sessions for pitchers and catchers. Utilizing TrackMan technology, Prep Baseball collected advanced pitch metrics, movement profiles, velocity data, and arsenal information while video captured each bullpen for inclusion in player profiles.
The Rising Stars ID series is an early evaluation event, allowing players to update their profiles with verified statistics, advanced analytics, video, and scouting reports while helping identify strengths and weaknesses as they player begins his high school journey..
Over the coming days, Prep Baseball NC will release statistical leaderboards, scouting notes, and player reports highlighting the top performers from the Campbell Rising Star ID.
