On Tuesday, June 23rd, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff hosted the Milwaukee Summer ID at The Rock in Franklin, WI. Over 50 players participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Illinois staff.

MIF Easton Pye (Wilmot Union, 2029) developing 5-foot-6, 143-pound frame with athleticism and twitch. Right-handed hitter simple with rhythm, works on plane with extension through contact, showing feel for the barrel while continuing to develop bat strength with a pull-side approach. Defensively, looked the part of one of the top infielders in the class with twitchy actions, athletic feet, and the ability to play low to the ground. Showed soft hands, a clean glove-to-hand exchange, quick trigger, and an arm that plays on the move and from multiple slots with strong body control. An advanced defensive infielder to follow in the 2029 class.
INF Gavin Vahl (Whitnall, 2029) twitchy 5-foot-6, 141-pound frame with room to add strength. Right-handed hitter with an open, narrow, crouched setup and quick, simple stride. Works with a direct path and feel to drive the ball in the air. Defensively, showed steady and clean hands with fluid actions and some range in the infield. Arm plays with a full arm action from a ¾ slot, showing carry and life out of the hand while reaching 78 mph across the infield. An athletic infield prospect to follow in the 2029 class.
PITCHERS/TWO-WAYS
RHP Henry Koopmeiners (Waukesha North, 2027) is a projectable, athletic right-hander who stands in a 6-foot-4, 220-pound frame. He moved well on the mound and showed a clean, loose arm path with easy effort throughout. He featured a fastball at 85-88 mph with natural arm-side run, and a short, horizontal slider at 78-80 mph that averaged 2,314 rpm. Koopmeiners rounded out his arsenal with a changeup, sitting 79-80 mph that he threw with fastball intent, generating 17.3 inches of horizontal fade. Koopmeiners is an uncommitted name to follow out of the junior class.
RHP Jacob Mrozinski (Muskego, 2029) is a name our staff came away impressed with. He stands in a physical, 6-foot-1, 219-pound frame and showed a repeatable delivery on the mound with a minimal effort arm path. He featured a fastball at 78–80 mph that plays straight through the zone, and followed it up with a sharp 11/5 shaped slider at 67–70 mph with -18.8 inches of horizontal break and -4.9 inches of induced vertical break. Mrozinski rounded out his arsenal with a changeup at 69–73 mph that he threw with fastball intent, generating downward action. Mrozinski is a name to follow with plenty of upside to come.
INF/RHP Evan Harbort (Cambridge, 2028) Two-way, multi-sport athlete with a strong 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame. Right-handed hitter with an athletic operation, showing strength throughout the frame while working on top of the baseball with backspin. Averaged an 85.8 mph exit velocity while reaching a 97 mph max exit velocity. Defensively, showed the versatility to handle multiple positions across the diamond, recording an 82 mph infield velocity and 85 mph outfield velocity with clean actions and athleticism at both spots. On the mound, worked with a simple delivery featuring a medium leg lift with tuck into a drop-and-drive lower half. Arm works from a long path with a ¾ slot. Fastball sat 78-80 mph, showing a clean four-seam out of the hand with straight action and a two-seam with sink. Mixed in a 70-71 mph curveball with short 11/5 shape and a 73-74 mph changeup that showed the ability to kill spin with some downer action. An early two-way prospect to follow in the 2028 class.
OF/RHP Carson Tegelman (Appleton North, 2028) showed well during his bullpen on Tuesday. He stands in a 6-foot-1, 209-pound frame with present strength throughout. Right-handed hitter with an upright, narrow setup that works in rhythm with a repeatable operation. Shows easy strength with a flat path and feel for the barrel, producing backspun contact to the pull side. Averaged a 91.1 mph exit velocity while reaching a 97 mph max exit velocity. Defensively, showed clean, athletic actions with soft hands and a strong, accurate arm that reached 85 mph from the outfield. Tegelman worked exclusively out of the stretch and showed a longer arm action with a minimal effort path. He showed a four-pitch mix in this look, where his fastball sat 82–83 mph with slight arm-side action. He threw two separate breaking balls; a slider that sat 72-74 mph with 10/4 shaped playing with tighter action, and a curveball with 11/5 shape at 70–72 mph averaging -5.7 inches of induced vertical break and -10.7 inches of horizontal movement. He rounded out his mix with a cutter at 79 mph. Tegelman is a rising junior to continue to monitor moving forward.
INF/RHP Colin Lamp (Muskego, 2027) continues to look the part of an uncommitted follow in the Badger State. Lamp owns a 5-foot-10, 178-pound athletic, well-proportioned frame. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, sitting into the backside with a knee-knock trigger. Works with a direct path, showing present strength and feel for the barrel while reaching a 97 mph max exit velocity. Defensively, showed steady actions with feel for the pocket and a clean shuffle into his throws. Arm worked with a full arm action from a ¾ slot, reaching 82 mph across the infield. He's a simple, deliberate mover on the mound with a longer arm path that works quick out front. He showcased a four-pitch mix with a fastball at 81–82 mph with life out of the hand and slight arm-side action. He mixed in both a slider and a curveball; the slider sitting 68–70 mph with 10/4 shape and shorter action that flashed sweep, and a curveball at 66–68 mph with 11/5 shape, averaging -16.1 inches of induced vertical break and -12.4 inches of horizontal movement that he showed feel to land and worked low in the zone. He rounded out his arsenal with a changeup at 77–78 mph that he threw with the same arm speed as his fastball. Lamp remains an uncommitted name to follow out of the junior class.
LHP Nico Vavalle (Grant, IL, 2028) came away a winner in front of our Wisconsin staff. Vavalle stands in an athletic and wiry 5-foot-8, 140-pound frame. He showed clean actions on the mound with a low-effort, quick arm path. His fastball sat in the low-80s in this look, and he mixed in a slider at 69-72 mph sweeping shape, averaging 20.9 inches of horizontal movement. Vavalle also threw a curveball at 68-69 mph with 1/7 shape, and more vertical action that he showed feel to land in the lower half. He rounded out his four-pitch mix with a change-up at 76-77 mph, playing with sink and generating an average of -16.7 inches of horizontal movement. Heading into his junior year, Vavalle will be an arm to monitor from Illinois.
RHP Taylor Fryjoff (Franklin, 2029) is an upside name to follow in Wisconsin. He stands in a wiry, 6-foot, 169-pound frame with seemingly plenty more to come. Fryjoff showed a loose and free-flowing delivery with a long, loose arm path that worked out of a 3/4 slot. His fastball played with slight arm-side action, while his sinker played with slight sink. He showed confidence in his slider that worked with 10/4 shape and shows projection down the road. He rounded out his arsenal with a change-up that played with fade and sink and showed low spin. The movement patters and frame projection make Fryjoff a name to continue to follow in the state's incoming sophomore class.
RHP Connor Nissen (Warren Township, IL, 2028) athletic 5-foot-10, 171-pound frame. Worked exclusively from the stretch with a small leg lift and tuck into a drop-and-drive lower half. Compact arm action from a ¾ slot. Fastball sat 77-82 mph, playing mostly straight through the zone while averaging 2,329 rpm. Mixed in a 70-73 mph slider with short, horizontal action that averaged 2,684 rpm, while also showing confidence in a 71-73 mph changeup with late fade and sink. An arm to follow in the 2028 class.
