Each week, CIF coaches around the state submit to us their nominations for the Prep Baseball California Player of the Week honors. Following that announcement, our staff publishes the nominees who fell just short of that week's POTW honor inside of the 'Diamond Notes,' which is made live every Wednesday.
Coaches, if you are interested in submitting a nomination for one of next week's awards, please nominate a player by emailing PB California Scouting Director Les Lukach at [email protected], or by submitting to our Google Form that we send out to coaches each week. Please include relevant statistics, program records, clutch moments, etc. along with your nomination to help highlight why the player is deserving of consideration for either POTW award, as well as inclusion within the weekly Diamond Notes. Please note, we're only able to consider and accept nominations from CIF coaches.
