Stats: .714, HR, 2 2B, 5 R, 3 SB The true definition of a spark-plug, Jenkins brought the energy and production all week long while really setting the tone for Team Georgia on the week. Compact, explosive 5-foot-8, 160-pound frame shows a toolshed profile that's highlighted by carrying tools in both the run and hit tools. Jenkins would put together one of the best weeks across the event going .714 with a HR, 2 2B, 5 R, and 3 SB across the week and only failing to reach base in his first and last at-bats. Zone awareness is as advanced as you’ll find in the state with accuracy in the barrel that plays throughout the zone and mature two-strike approach that makes it nearly impossible to beat in-zone. Don’t sleep on the raw power either with ability to turn on balls with carry to the pull-side and will show it in-game as displayed on a 367ft. shot to LCF against Tennessee. This is a true center field profile long-term with a great first step and excellent routes in all directions that allow for easy tracking. The makeup is plus with vocal leadership both on and off the field and truly just an infectious personality that you want in the dugout at all times. This was an easy choice with the week that Jenkins put together and now positioned himself greatly for what should be an exciting start to the month of August.
