In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

Despite a two-run surge in the seventh inning by Oconomowoc, Sun Prairie East leaned on an early offensive burst to hold on for a 5-4 victory on Saturday. The Cardinals did the bulk of their damage in a four-run third inning, stringing together hits and securing key RBI from Cam Glusick, Van Vogler, and Joey Tamboli. Starting pitcher Mason Koop picked up the win, grinding through four innings while allowing two runs on four hits with four walks and four strikeouts. Brayden Johnson took over in relief to toss the final three frames, navigating the late Oconomowoc push to seal the game. Jacob Kopfer anchored the Raccoons' offense by going 2-for-3 with an RBI double, while Alex Herzog also collected two hits and tallied a double in the narrow defeat.

Kingston Grisolono ignited the decisive rally with a two-run single, while Landon Zak and Leo Gerhartz each drove in runs during the frame to break the game open. Kewaskum starter Cole Loser earned the win, yielding just one unearned run on one hit and one walk while striking out three across four innings of work. Marcus Perondi followed with three scoreless frames of relief to seal the victory. Levi Whitfield paced a nine-hit Kewaskum attack with a 3-for-4 showing that included a triple, and Jace Wichtoski went 2-for-3 with an RBI double. The Cedar Grove-Belgium offense struggled to find its footing, mustering just three hits on the day, though Griffin Knight delivered a double and Ira Hilbelink added a single alongside two stolen bases.

Brady Merzlicker anchored the Kimberly offense, going 2-for-3 with a double, two runs, and two RBI. Peterson aided his own cause with a 2-for-3, one-RBI performance at the plate, and Hermus chipped in an RBI double. Slinger showed patience by drawing nine walks on the day, but the offense was unable to capitalize on the base traffic, mustering only one hit apiece from Grady Chvosta and Cole Lighthizer.
