Cactus Shadows 4, ALA - Gilbert North 2

Cactus Shadows rallied late with a three run seventh inning to secure a 4-2 win over ALA - Gilbert North. Scully delivered the go ahead blow with a two run double before Murphy added an insurance RBI single. Baumann kept the Falcons within striking distance early, while Scheuler closed out the final two innings without allowing a hit.

Coplen kept Douglas off balance throughout, while the Rattlers continued to apply pressure with patient at bats and quality defense.

Ironwood Ridge broke the game open with a seven run fifth inning to take down Saguaro 9-4 at Diablo Stadium. Wilson drove in three runs from the middle of the order, while Young collected three hits to pace a 12 hit attack. Peters turned in a strong outing on the mound, striking out eight over six innings.

The Lancers finished with 13 hits overall and received three scoreless innings from Gutierrez to start the game.
