NOTES:
Farmington wasted no time settling into the No. 1 spot, edging Lakeville South 2-1 to move to 14-1. Lucas Oistad (2027, LHP, Uncommitted) was in control from start to finish, going the distance while allowing one run on two hits and striking out eight. The Tigers scratched across both runs in the first on a passed ball and an RBI single from Ty Beck (2027, OF, Uncommitted), and that proved to be enough.
No. 2 Mounds View saw a game get away late, falling after carrying a 5-1 lead into the fifth before Park erupted for 12 runs. The Mustangs still put up 11 of their own. RJ Madison (2027, OF, Uncommitted) went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI, while Liem Berlien added two RBI and scored three times. Mounds View is now 11-3 with Cretin-Derham Hall up next.
No. 3 Chaska ran into a tough Maple Grove club, dropping a 4-2 decision. Ethan Williams (2026, C, Southwest Minnesota State) accounted for much of the offense, going 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI. The Hawks move to 10-3.
No. 4 Shakopee continued its steady play with an 11-1 win over Eastview in six innings. Logan Krosch (2026, SS, St. John’s) went 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base, two RBI, and two runs scored, while Cooper Lenz (2027, IF, Uncommitted) drove in three, including a triple. Jack Stensrud (2028, RHP, Uncommitted) handled the mound, going five innings and allowing one run on four hits with four strikeouts. The Sabers are 12-2.
No. 5 Mahtomedi could not close it out late, falling 4-2 to Hastings after a pair of runs in the seventh. Connor Finn (2026, LHP/OF, Texas Tech) went 2-for-3 with a double, and Peyton Erickson (2026, RHP, Southeastern CC) gave them four innings, allowing two unearned runs while striking out six. The Zephyrs are now 10-2.
No. 6 Minnetonka found a way in a tight one, slipping past Moorhead 4-3. Joe Brophy (2026, RHP, Uncommitted) worked six innings, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out three. The Skippers improve to 10-4.
No. 7 Andover dropped its third straight, falling 6-2 to St. Michael-Albertville. Blake Baumann (2026, LHP/1B, Century) went 5.1 innings with six strikeouts, allowing four earned runs. The Huskies are now 9-5.
No. 8 Two Rivers picked up a clean 4-0 win over South St. Paul. Maize Carpenter (2027, DH/RHP, Uncommitted) went 2-for-2 with an RBI, while Liam Huntley (2026, RHP/3B, Uncommitted) threw a complete-game shutout, allowing two hits and striking out four. The Warriors move to 9-2.
No. 9 Rosemount outslugged Prior Lake 12-9 behind a strong showing from the top of the order. Cal Ronay (2026, RHP/IF, Uncommitted) and Jacob Michel (2027, IF, Oregon) combined to go 4-for-6 with a double, three RBI, and four runs scored. Evan Boll (2026, RHP/3B, Uncommitted) added impact on both sides, going 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored while working six innings on the mound with seven strikeouts.
