NOTES

+ No. 1 Cretin-Derham Hall responded the way top teams do. After the loss to Mounds View, the Raiders came out swinging and put East Ridge away early in a 13-1 win. They hung 13 runs across the first two innings and never looked back. Davis Fleming (2026, 1B, Minnesota) and Isaac Feller (2027, OF, Uncommitted) set the tone with back-to-back home runs in the first, and it kept rolling from there. Charlie Fenlon (2028, OF, Uncommitted) added a strong day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored. On the mound, Ike Crouser (2027, RHP, Notre Dame) worked four innings, allowing four hits to lock down the win.

+ No. 2 Minnetonka dropped its second game of the week in a back-and-forth 12-11 loss to St. Michael-Albertville. The Skippers made a late push with five runs in the seventh but came up one short. Jacob Musgjerd (2026, 3B, Concordia-St. Paul) had a big offensive day, going 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, and four RBI. Sam Friberg (2026, LHP/OF, Uncommitted) also left the yard, finishing 2-for-3.

+ No. 3 Farmington took its first loss of the season as the offense stalled out. Grady Renwick (2026, IF, Southwest Minnesota State) drove in Matthew Hennen (2027, C, Illinois State) with a double in the first to tie the game, but the Tigers did not record a baserunner over the final five innings.

+ No. 5 Mounds View handled Irondale 7-0 with a clean, complete performance. Jack Glancey (2026, OF, UW-La Crosse) led the offense, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI, and two stolen bases. On the mound, Cooper Caligiuri (2026, C/RHP, Uncommitted) struck out five over three hitless innings.

+ No. 6 Edina picked up a 6-1 win over Hopkins with contributions throughout the lineup. Six different players drove in runs. Owen Meyer (OF) led the way with two hits, including a second-inning double that gave Edina a 2-0 lead. Ari Miller (2029, LHP, Uncommitted) gave them four strong innings, allowing one run on three hits while striking out five.

+ No. 8 Maple Grove took its first loss of the season, falling 5-0 to Buffalo.

+ No. 9 Mahtomedi bounced back behind a dominant outing from Connor Finn (2026, LHP, Texas Tech). He worked 5.1 hitless innings, striking out 11 of the 18 hitters he faced to earn the win. Finn also contributed at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a home run.
