Texas Pitcher & Hitter of the Week (Week 6)

Prep Baseball Texas Staff

Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Hitter & Pitcher of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state

Thank you to the many high school coaches that sent in nominations this week.

Let's take a look at the Hitter and Pitcher of the Week for Week 6 (Mar 23-Mar 29).

HITTER OF THE WEEK

Chase Pearrow SS / 3B / Waxahachie, TX / 2026

The Navarro commit earns Player of the Week honors after a huge showing at the plate, going 6-for-11 with 3 home runs, a double, and 10 RBI.

Pearrow’s power was on full display all week, consistently driving the baseball with authority. He capped it off by setting the school single-season home run record with his 11th of the year. A standout performance from one of the hottest bats in the state.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Garrett Jordan LHP / 1B / Forney, TX / 2026

Cisco College commit Garrett Jordan earns Pitcher of the Week honors after a dominant 5-inning no-hitter, striking out 11 while allowing just one free pass.

Jordan controlled the game from the start, attacking the zone as he led the Jackrabbits to a 10-0 win. A commanding, efficient outing from the lefty.
