Texas Pitcher & Hitter of the Week (Week 5)

Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Hitter & Pitcher of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state.
Thank you to the many high school coaches that sent in nominations this week.

Panola JC commit Wade Sebek turned in a dominant outing on the mound, tossing a 7-inning no-hitter with 14 strikeouts and just 1 walk. The left-hander controlled the game from start to finish, attacking the zone and missing bats, while limiting any traffic. A complete, overpowering performance from the LHP. |
