Texas Pitcher & Hitter of the Week (Week 5)

Prep Baseball Texas Staff

Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Hitter & Pitcher of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state

Thank you to the many high school coaches that sent in nominations this week.

Let's take a look at the Hitter and Pitcher of the Week for Week 5 (Mar 16-Mar 21).

HITTER OF THE WEEK

Lincoln Lamm / Monterey, TX / 2026

Lincoln Lamm turned in a big week at the plate, going 6-for-8 with 2 home runs, a double, and 3 singles while driving in 5 and scoring 6. The uncommitted impacted the game in a big way for the Plainsmen. Physical 6'1, 195lb frame with some defensive versatility.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Wade Sebek LHP / 1B / Cy Fair, TX / 2026

Panola JC commit Wade Sebek turned in a dominant outing on the mound, tossing a 7-inning no-hitter with 14 strikeouts and just 1 walk.

The left-hander controlled the game from start to finish, attacking the zone and missing bats, while limiting any traffic. A complete, overpowering performance from the LHP.
