We will be doing the Mizuno Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Each week we go through all the box scores from throughout the week as well as look at submissions turned in by high school coaches to pick our Player of the Week.  There were numerous players that had massive weeks, including multiple no hitters, but the consistent middle of the order production from Berryhill's Dawson Hedge puts him over the top. 

Hedge was a huge part of Berryhill's 4-0 start to the season with a massive offensive output. On the week, the Chiefs cleanup man went 11/14 with 5 Doubles, 5 Runs scored, and 12 RBIs. With so many deserving candidates after the week, it took a massive showing for Hedge to bring home our Player of the Week honors and he produced in a big way.
