Centennial 6, Desert Hills 5
Centennial (#5) utilized a late offensive surge to overcome out-of-state opponent Desert Hills, securing a 6-5 victory on Monday. The Bulldogs trailed by one run heading into the bottom of the sixth before exploding for four runs to take the lead. Despite a two-run push from the Thunder in the top of the frame to keep things close, the Centennial bullpen held firm to preserve the narrow win.
Desert Hills established an early presence, plating runs in the first and fourth innings to maintain a competitive edge throughout the contest. Centennial's 10-hit attack was led by multi-hit performances from Jorge Arenas and Kane Barber, while Andres Soto provided the primary run production with three RBIs. Jayse Love earned the win in relief, throwing two scoreless innings to stifle the Thunder's late-game momentum.

Palo Verde (#7) showcased its depth and power in a dominant 12-0 shutout victory against Clark on Monday. The Panthers established control early with four runs in the first and never looked back, ending the game via mercy rule after five innings. Keimani Johnson was the story of the day, earning the win on the mound with a brilliant one-hit performance while striking out eight.
The Panthers' offense was relentless, racking up 11 hits including two home runs. Kyle Johnson led the charge at the plate, finishing a perfect 2-for-2 with a home run and five RBIs. Chase Griffith also cleared the fences with a two-run shot, while Stone Amsden and Karsen Smaka each contributed multi-hit games to fuel the rout. Clark struggled to find any momentum against Johnson, managing only a single hit from Brody Ricci in the losing effort.

Faith Lutheran (#2) continued their dominant form with a 15-0 shutout victory over Bonanza on Monday, ending the contest early via mercy rule. The Crusaders' offense was relentless from the jump, exploding for 11 runs in the first inning and finishing with 17 hits in just four frames. Kingston Kela led the charge with a nearly perfect day at the plate, while Dylan Othick anchored the defense with a dominant one-hit performance on the mound.
The Crusaders displayed immense power throughout the lineup, recording eight doubles and two home runs. Rookie Shepard and Macen Collura each contributed extra-base hits, while L. Canarelli added a solo shot to further the lead. Bonanza struggled to find any rhythm against Othick, who struck out four and allowed only a single hit to Dillon Owens over four innings of work.
