NORTHPORT, AL - The PB Alabama Kickoff Classic made its debut at River Run Park in Northport on February 20-21, bringing together 15 of the top high school programs from across the state for a premier early-season showcase. Throughout the two-day event, our staff was on site providing in-game coverage and evaluations, and this Scout Blog serves as a running journal of notes, observations, and standout performances from the weekend. With the season just getting underway, the Kickoff Classic offered a first look at many of Alabama’s top teams and prospects in a competitive setting, setting the tone for what promises to be an eventful spring across the state.
