FROM WEDNESDAY (3.4.26)

+ NOXUBEE COUNTY VS LOUISVILLE

Louisville rolled to a 16-1 win over Noxubee County on Friday behind a big offensive performance. Louisville jumped out to an early lead with a three-run homer in the first and then broke the game open with a massive 13-run second inning. The Wildcats totaled 12 hits and applied pressure on the bases with five stolen bases in the victory. Louisville’s pitching staff also controlled the game on the mound, holding Noxubee County to just one hit.

+ HERITAGE ACADEMY VS BAYOU ACADEMY

Bayou Academy defeated Heritage Academy 7-2 on Wednesday, responding quickly after falling behind early with a five-run first inning fueled by several RBI singles. Bayou finished with nine hits in the win, with multiple players collecting two hits and several driving in runs. The pitching staff limited Heritage to just a few hits while striking out six, helping Bayou maintain control of the game the rest of the way.

+ OAK FOREST ACADEMY VS ST. STANISLAUS

St. Stanislaus defeated Oak Forest Academy 9-4 on Wednesday, pulling away in the middle innings after the game was tied early. St. Stanislaus broke the tie with a two-run play in the fifth before adding insurance with a three-run home run in the sixth. The Rockachaws totaled 11 hits and showed patience at the plate with several walks while also playing error-free defense. Oak Forest scored early but couldn’t keep pace after St. Stanislaus’ offensive surge.
